It’s called The Inherent Contempt of Congress Powers. With these powers, the Speaker of the House (Mike Johnson) can send the Sergeant at Arms (or his duty) to go arrest ANYONE who defies a congressional subpoena.
Where can they be held? Many don’t know this, but there are jail cells at the bottom of the Capitol.
I learned about this in January 2023… but this is the FIRST TIME I’ve heard anyone from Congress mention this…
