Brothers seem to be particularly uncaring about keeping up sibling relationships. At least, that seems to be the case with some here. I would say the same here. In general, I find women care more about keeping the relationships going among family. Perhaps I am wrong and, if so, I would be glad to hear it.
Okay, I understand now. I like dogs, though we don’t have one. However, a dog that bites people and kills the neighbors’ chickens is a problem, and Gov. Noem (pardon the misspelling above) did what was lawful and ethical.
Husband agreed to watch a neighbors obnoxious 7 month puppy for 5 days. They dropped it off at 6 am last Friday and will pick it up tonight around 10 if their flight is on time….8 long torturous days. I was totally against this but it mattered not. My final comment on the matter this morning was …”it is one thing to have coffee with someone and quite another to live with them”.
Good morning! Thanks, Peter, for the funnies. I will check them out and hope for a chuckle.
I wonder what kind of bird is in the header?
Yesterday I moved my car out from under the carport and pulled it back in on the far side so I can put a little table outside near the kitchen door. I will use an electric roaster oven pan to bake in on that outdoor tanle to keep the indoors cooler in this warmer weather. That was my big outing in the car yesterday!😃 When it’s a rainy day, I will pull it out for a wash.
I’ve often relied on rain for car washes. I take mine through one of those quick, automatic ones every now and then (it needs it now and there’s no rain in our forecast, last I looked).
It’s Friday! This week flew by unlike the last couple weeks.
Great relationships with both brothers and sisters in law. We can go a long time without talking and get back together like no time had passed. None of us work to keep the relationships going.
One of my occasional prayers is that when I am gone, Nightingale and Chickadee will still get together periodically. Especially for holidays, but other times, too. In fact, I am going to suggest that to them in a letter that I am working on for them to read after my death.
The nice young plumbers came and took out the old toilet in our half bath. However, after assembling the new one, it was discovered the wrong toilet was ordered. So, the old one was put back in and the right one ordered. I was so looking forward to getting this small job finished.
I had my long awaited appointment with the orthopedist today. His staff is very nice. I first met with an assistant. Then the doctor said hello and took the assistant out with him to look at my xrays.
When he came back he said that I needed a full hip replacement, when should we make the appointment.
Wow, that was a shock. I put a tentative appointment for August on the calendar. I went back and read comments that came with the xrays and it said that I had moderate degenerative. He made it sound like there is nothing left which does explain the pain I have been feeling. I am just not too sure about this. I READ all of the info they gave me. wow that is quite an incision and then they put a rod inside the femur.
oh, in good news, I got a reply to a comment that I made on instagram. I asked the fellow that took drone footage of my home in PNG if he had the footage. He replied that he would find it and send me a link. Yeah, I have been wanting this for two years.

Another Friday already?
I guess I’ll have to look at some news reports to understand a what Gov. Noemi said about dogs.

Great to see a pair of mockingbirds!
Kathaleena, I’m in touch with all five of my brothers, but it’s my sister who elected not to have an actual relationship with me.

Very windy today, but beautiful sunshine.

Peter,
She was teaching the dog to be a bird dog for pheasant hunting, and then acts shocked when it chases birds? Lol.
She killed her chances of being VP.

A bird dog does not kill the bird. Hers was a dangerous killing dog. Past time to put it down.
