  1. Heading out in just a bit. Husband had to take Lu for a run this morning….I think he’s stressed a bit. Just the thought of vacuuming while I’m down for a while has tipped him over the edge!! Thanks y’all for your prayers…I love you! Nj

  2. He can come vacuum here, too. Stress relief is probably what that is. And I have a lot of opportunity for that here.

Please also pray for one of our reporters, M, who is in the hospital and apparently is quite ill (he’s not old).

  3. And pray for our editor and those of us working with/for him; our small coastal geographical group within the larger news group footprint is short-handed, down by a couple reporters for the foreseeable future.

  4. praying for John….may our Lord minister to him during this trial and evermore.

I was taken into surgery an hour early and Dr McCann was very pleased with how it all went. Over 25 stones requiring one larger incision of the 4. He feels this has been going on for at least 5 years and that my attacks were not indigestion as my pcp thought. But it is all behind me but the pain and healing. How I cherish you all and the prayers offered on my behalf. ❣️(husband is taking a nap now😊)

  5. Thankful to see your post, NJ. So glad to hear your report of how well you were cared for. You have been going through a lot; what a trooper you have been with God by your side. My friend and I have been feeling our pcp docs don’t take things as seriously lately as they once did, maybe because insurance has their hands tied on testing they’d like to do but can’t these days. Anyways, so glad it is behind you and you can receive good pain management and healing care. Blessings on Your husband as he does his part. So glad he is strong and able. Praising God for watching over you today, tomorrow, and always!❤🙏❤ Love you sweet NJ!

  6. Nj, so thankful things went well. Prayer for a full quick recovery.

Praying for the other requests as well.

At my camp, we run school outdoor recreation trips for mostly grade 8 students (kind of like a fun end to their elementary years before they head to high school for grade 9). We don’t present the Gospel as such, but always have a staff give a personal story at campfire and then our staff stay in the cabins with the students giving opportunity for questions, if asked. Many students come back for summer camp after having been there with their class.

The teachers across the province are working to rule now trying to get what they want in their contract. So that means no extracurricular activities including class trips.

Please pray that this contract would be settled quickly. We need to let our spring staff know if they will have a job or not to be fair to them. Also, this program brings in 25% of our revenue and helps us to subsidize low income campers.
