  2. Good afternoon. I was sad this morning in finding out that Charlie, Miss Bosley’s twin in the UK, is having to be put to sleep today.

Immediately after seeing the post where L had said Charlie would be going over the rainbow bridge, a post popped up from Michelle. It was a picture of a rainbow! Gotta love God’s timing!

  3. Even though he was 17 y/o, it was unexpected. He had gone to the vet unable to walk on his remaining front leg. He’d had one leg amputated when only 3 or 4 y/o. He was a rescue adoption by L so she, a single lady, had him as a devoted companion cat for 14 years. The vet said he has bone cancer and he could amputate the remaining front leg, but she could not decide to do that with him being 17 y/o.😒 I think she made the right decision. Just tough, as we all know.

  4. Always a tough decision.

Here we have had a walk and two rounds of cornhole. Dad is the most lucid he has been in a long time. Lots of joking and laughing.

  5. So Long, Megadrought?
California politicians still need to build a lot more water infrastructure, but media mentions of the frightening term “megadrought” appear to be running behind last year’s levels, which may be a positive sign. Now Ian James reportsfor the Los Angeles Times:

California’s mountains are covered with snow, reservoirs are mostly filled and hills across the state are sprouting green grass and wildflowers after the latest round of soaking storms.

The snowpack across the Sierra Nevada now stands at 105% of average for this time of year, and state officials will provide an update on conditions Tuesday when they conduct their April snow survey, which is typically when the snowpack reaches its peak.
