Anyone have something to share?

  1. The stomach bug has bitten me. I have been up since 3:30 this morning. Feeling very yucky, very cold (despite having the heat up), and weak, as well as my stomach feeling sick. I am hoping that the worst has passed, but I was thinking that an hour ago, and then got hit again.

    Emily gave me two teas to try – peppermint tea, and ginger with turmeric and something else. Starting with the peppermint tea, but I am barely sipping it because I am afraid it will make me throw up again.

  3. Turns out that even little sips here and there are too much for my tummy, and will come back up eventually. :-( So I am going to wait until this evening to try again, unless I start to feel markedly better. (Hoping and praying for that!)

  5. Oh Kizzie, I’m so sorry to hear that! Yes, fast for the time being and I also hope it’s the 24-hour thing. Hopefully you can handle liquids sooner than that, in small sips. So dehydrating, these conditions.

    That ‘norovirus’ — if that’s what it is, kind of sounds like it — moves through pretty quickly I think.

  6. Hey all. I’ve had more setbacks the end of this week. It’s very frustrating. Couple that with the bills coming in for all that went on, nearly a million dollars, and what our responsibilities will be on that, has just added to my stress. I could use prayer please. Cheryl too, as she has to put up with me.

    It’ll take a while for the parties to battle out those charges, AJ. Hoping it lands at a workable amount on your end. It’s all so expensive (medical care).

  10. Praying Aj…it is jarring to read those bills when they finally come in! Trusting the Lord to provide and settle it all…deep breath brother! And a big hug to Cheryl…I get a knot in my stomach when husband is verbal processing finances …. It will all work out❣️
