  1. Good morning. The rain finally stopped here. We had over two inches yesterday. Now it’s cold anf windy so feels like in the thirties after a high pf 66° yesterday morning.I

I see that Henry Blackaby died. He was loved by many and will be missed. I attended a few of his 6:30 a.m. teachings he did for business people at the large Baptist church near Art’s office. I met his sweet wife. Prayers for her and all their family.

  2. Janice,

Your storm has joined NJs and we go us a Nor’easter! We have at least 6 inches already and it’s still coming down hard and fast. A good day to stay inside.

  4. Good morning from dry Idaho.

This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:3

But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by Him, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again? Gal. 4:9

We need to “get God” but that comes after He “gets us”.

  5. Our rain returns tomorrow. We dug up the front yard in the fall, planning to replace the grass with more drought tolerant materia. (And to place a bench beside the little library.)

It’s a sea of mud out there, but that should make it easier to plow–eventually.

  6. And another river-rain event is heading in on the southern West Coast late this weekend, continuing into next week. Sending it all east after that. … 40 days and 40 nights? … -dj

  7. Sunshine here, and in the 40s. I wanted to work on the fence, but just the very top of soil has melted, and it so slick that I have almost fallen several times.

  10. Some snow was initially predicted for last night, but they changed the forecast and we didn’t get any.

Which was good, because that meant I could keep up with my original plans to drive to the big city and buy a new camera. 🙂 I’ve upgraded quite a bit, so I have a learning curve ahead of me. I loved the photos I got with my previous cameras, but not the limitations (no photography in low light, limited ability to photograph active creatures), so we’ll see how this works!

  11. I walked for longer today since it is cooler out. Maybe soon I will be up to an hour; I was ten minutes short today.

Around the corner I saw a tree like the Birthday Tree already in bloom. Our tree needs to wait almost a month.

My ladies’ Bible study was so sweet this monning. I saw one lady I have not seen since I last attended that former church. We have been on calls frequently but not in person together. I am still in awe about how God brought together the diverse group. As Christians we are all family.
