  1. To answer DJ’s query yesterday: Yes, I took those photos at my daughter’s house. She lives on 4 wooded acres, so there are a lot of pine and cedar trees around.

Here is a classic from the Ray Conniff Singers. We wore this album out every year when I was young.

  2. It was 39° earlier and is 55° now with sun and no wind. Very pleasant.

I was on a prayer call with six more ladies this morning for almost two hours. It is wondeful to have dedicated time with other believers to simply pray.

  3. I made it to the eye doctor this morning. He will send in a referral for cataract surgery. I think the other office has to check my eyes before they will schedule anything.
This must be the blog thing to do. He told me not to get new lenses as my prescription will be changing if I have the surgery.

Of course they wanted the name of my secondary insurance. I need to to to some more hunting to find that. I do have kind of an idea. 🙂

  4. It hit 60 degrees in the Springs today! I met some old coworkers and two of our favorite customers for lunch today. We all brought a gift to exchange…one that we hand stitched. It was a sweet time of being together once again.

I ran a couple errands while in town and will order any other presents needed on Amazon. 😊🎄

  5. I found my insurance information! I remembered that I had made a file of that information so I looked in the laundry room where my box of files was. I found the file and I found a large envelope that they had sent me in September of 22 that I had never opened. Of course there were my insurance cards and all of the policy information.
I told you that I hadn’t been to the doctor this year.

  6. Praying, too, Kathaleena — so when is the 2nd one scheduled (or tentatively scheduled)? They usually do them a month apart but sounds like you won’t have time to spread them out like that? Sounds complicated! -dj
