Anyone else have something to share?
Psalm 128
A song of ascents.
1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him.
2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;
blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
within your house;
your children will be like olive shoots
around your table.
4 Yes, this will be the blessing
for the man who fears the Lord.
5 May the Lord bless you from Zion;
may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
all the days of your life.
6 May you live to see your children’s children—
peace be on Israel.
Things are looking good here. I can smell Vick’s again. My dad seems to be doing well, he worries about me.

Ahh, a dad’s worry. I no longer have to worry about that myself. Bittersweet.

Continued prayers for neighbors, but when I talked to R, S’s husband, on his pit-stop back at the house from the hospital yesterday and he said all’s going well so far.
The pain seems to be getting controlled, they had a brace on her leg yesterday (but it was taken off for a little while). Not sure if they got her up yesterday, but if not, probably today — they want those new joints to be up and moving, bearing some weight, asap typically.
Still unclear when she’ll come home, but my guess is it’ll be a few days. But talking to her husband it just seems like a huge cloud has been lifted off of him (and her, too, I’m sure). Finally, both knees are done and they can focus on a recovery process that isn’t just part of a waiting time before another surgery. -dj

Last night on the daily thread, I mentioned that Nightingale and Boy had a nice plan for the evening to watch a Christmas movie and have some Chinese food. That plan got blown to bits when Nightingale got home from work with the food, due to Boy being very irresponsible and not taking care of the things he should have done, not only yesterday, but on an ongoing basis. There is more to it, and more to what happened last evening, but that’s much of it in a nutshell.
Please pray for Boy to finally go through a time of maturing. He is 13, but very immature for his age, and just doesn’t seem to learn, despite his mom being pretty tough, and his having to face the consequences time and again.
Please also pray for Nightingale. You know what she has been through with him over the past couple of months, in addition to things like what happened last night. She seems to be at the end of her rope, and although she has not expressed this to me, I suspect that she is feeling pretty hopeless right now. Please pray that she will finally cry out to God. And that both she and her son will turn to Him and be saved.

One of the serious matters we have is that Boy lies, usually about doing something he should have done but didn’t. 😦

Kizzie I get a bit teary reading of the struggles. Boy’s turmoil along with N’s frustration.
I do pray they will find relief and safe haven in the lead of the Holy Spirit unto the Father. Knowing there is refuge and hope only in Him. To one day see them go before Him in prayer seeking His direction, leaving all angst and brokenness behind. May it be so in Jesrs name ❣️❣️
