It’s Thursday, so please remember to pray for Jo and the people of PNG.
Anyone else have something to share
Psalm 119:81-96
כ Kaph
81 My soul faints with longing for your salvation,
but I have put my hope in your word.
82 My eyes fail, looking for your promise;
I say, “When will you comfort me?”
83 Though I am like a wineskin in the smoke,
I do not forget your decrees.
84 How long must your servant wait?
When will you punish my persecutors?
85 The arrogant dig pits to trap me,
contrary to your law.
86 All your commands are trustworthy;
help me, for I am being persecuted without cause.
87 They almost wiped me from the earth,
but I have not forsaken your precepts.
88 In your unfailing love preserve my life,
that I may obey the statutes of your mouth.
ל Lamedh
89 Your word, Lord, is eternal;
it stands firm in the heavens.
90 Your faithfulness continues through all generations;
you established the earth, and it endures.
91 Your laws endure to this day,
for all things serve you.
92 If your law had not been my delight,
I would have perished in my affliction.
93 I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have preserved my life.
94 Save me, for I am yours;
I have sought out your precepts.
95 The wicked are waiting to destroy me,
but I will ponder your statutes.
96 To all perfection I see a limit,
but your commands are boundless.
Prayers all went well for Mumsee’s guys.
Prayers for the requests of others here, too.

Yes, they returned in fine order and I saw pics of the grands sleeping peacefully n their new beds.
Meanwhile, back at the farmlette, I found once again, piles of stolen newspapers, magazines, and books, as well as many pages of his personal writings of porn. What to do. In six months, eleven days, he turns eighteen. Wisdom. Love. Patience.

Prayers, Mumsee.
Father, we thank you for Mumsee’s life and for Mike’s. Thank you that you have gifted them to handle all of the stresses, both emotional and financial, that come with caring for troubled children and youth and aging parents. Thank you for providing all they have needed up to this point. We ask that you increase provision for them. Undergird their hearts and spirits with your peace, and strengthen their bodies for this season of their lives. Fill Mumsee with an extra portion of your wisdom and love. We ask these things with humble confidence because your word tells us to ask, and we ask with thanksgiving because you are worthy of all glory and praise. In Jesus your son we pray. Amen.

Amen.
I posted last week about a friend (V) at church whose brother was in the hospital with failing lungs (cancer) and was an unbeliever. The latest report was that he has told his sister that he does now believe (a big relief to her, clearly); they also put him on the transplant list, another big praise, and thought they’d found a match. But now it turns out (as of the last 24 hours) that the lungs weren’t a match so they continue to wait for that to become available.
I haven’t been in touch with V since the transplant fell through this week, but exchanged emails with her a couple days ago, she was so relieved about how things seemed to turn around from just a week earlier, especially on the faith issue. Prayers always appreciated that this is a genuine faith that God has granted. -dl

Amen to Debra’s prayer!
Praise God for changed hearts, whatever it takes, Dj.
I heard a news story yesterday about a man who required a heart and kidney transplant at the same time, both came from the same person who had died. The transplant recipient and his wife gave testimony of how the whole ordeal built their faith. PTL
