We are now great-grandparents with the birth of Georgia. I have a niece’s daughter with that name, too, and I just cannot think of the name without the song or songs coming into my head. 😀
So nice to have a day to just stay home. I went to see my sister yesterday and gave her the pictures I had of her in her teens. I may have had the only camera so there aren’t many pictures.

I’m still enjoying my time off work even though it is in a partial recovery mode. I still have to wear the eye shield overnight (for 7 nights post-surgery) and that does mildly bug me, but doesn’t keep me awake. 🙂
Congratulations Kathaleena!
A teacher friend told me that Genesis is now a trending name for (first?) children.
Enjoy the meandering, gentle walk, NJ, I’m sure it will be blessing to your friend (and to you).
I’m feeling almost recovered from the double whammy flu shot yesterday. It put me to sleep for many hours. I did okay at PT but had a little discomfort on the flu shot arm. I am enjoying the new PT student.
I think often about Kizzie and pray over that situation. I think how difficult to have so many unknowns about a loved one who lives in your home. It just about brings me to tears. It’s certainly a time to put trust in God and turn cares over to Him, the only One who knows all the details and cares more than is humanly possible.
Georgia is a lovely name. The Georgias (Jorja) that I know are also lovely people. 🙂 Congratulations!
We need to make a bed – we want to put a wall bed downstairs so the space is more useable when no guests are visiting. But… We need to finish the walls first and I have priorities for the upstairs.
My son-in-law put in a Murphy bed in the basement office/den so when we or his parents visit we have a bed. It’s sure comfortable. Of course, a lot depends on the mattress.
Good morning! Nice contrast in texture, color, and form in your photo, AJ. Lovely!

If April showers bring May flowers, what brings autumn flowers?
Ponder that while you read the editorial cartoons.

You know I like that name, Georgia. If I’d had a girl, the name would have been Georgianna. Congratulations!

I told son in law I was proud of him for knowing how to make a bed.

I guess one could actually *build* a bed, of course. Mine’s old all wood-frame, so I’m sure that was “built” by someone long, long ago.
