Nov 14 was the birth date of the first set of twins.
Nov 14 is court to end the marriage and set custody of those parents.
Nov 15 is the wedding anniversary of those parents.
Nov 15 was the birth of second son forty two years ago.
Nov 16 was the death of my step mom last year.
Nov 17 was the death of my mom forty one years ago.
Time keeps marching on bringing the good and the bad but all under the protection of God.

Difficult, Mumsee. My heart grieves for all the hurt.
I’ve been struggling emotionally this week with the news out of the Mideast and other issues.
We’ve been called to pray and fast on behalf of peace.
Which we’ve been doing.
The women in my Bible study include many who grew up during WWII, came of age during Korea, and sent loved ones to Vietnam.
They have seen war from the domestic side too many times.
They are wise and encouraging, pointing back to Jesus.
But I was shaken this week, and so I began study with writing the names of God on the whiteboard.
I told them to ask the Holy Spirit which name spoke to their heart that morning and write it down on a card I handed out.
We then went around the room, they shared the name, the meaning, and why it touched them.
Powerful.
On the basis of God’s names, we then prayed through the list of requests.
