  1. Good morning, all.

I just learned that the weekly jam will be cancelled for this week because of too many Covid cases in the building.

I have to buy a couple more things for some shoeboxes for Sam’s Purse, so I can get the partially filled boxes off our kitchen table. It seems I will have more time to get things done around home this week.

  2. Good morning, Wanderers!
Glad to see Kathaleena early today.

I hear a crow squawking about something. The garbage/recycling trucks just rolled by, and some dogs are barking. And now the roar of a jet overhead. My Monday morning in Atlanta symphony.

  3. Can anyone recommend a good brand of lightweight rolling overnight bag? What Art and I used when doing back and forth at the hospital was the heavy briefcase, multiple compartment bags on wheels, and they were too heavy for our age and stage. I want to replace those. Thanks!

  4. Good morning, all. A beautiful day here. Husband hopes to talk with behavioral health to learn what our options might be and what is expected of us as guardians and what authority as guardians.

  5. We’re filling our Operation Christmas Child boxes during Sunday School on Sunday. We’ve been gathering items all month.

Someone cleverly wrote out needs on post-it notes and put them on the wall in the back of the sanctuary: 10 rulers; 10 hair accessories; 10 notebooks, etc. so we’ll have a balance of items for the church boxes.

My husband returned at midnight. We talked until 3.

It will be a coffee-fueled day for sure!

  6. Coffee here, too!

The monthly virtual news conference w/the port director is at noon and I still need to make my “picks” for the student scary art contest — the story portion is later this week and that’ll be more time-consuming.

I spent most of the afternoon yesterday going through the 100-page DMV manual, I have to take that test in the next 2 weeks, then it’ll be time for the 2nd cataract surgery …

Trying to get a mobile groom appt set up for Abby who still won’t get into my car, I tired another tactic yesterday but no-go …

    Sigh.

  7. Busy day for folks. I have been shopping for professional grade paper shredders for a tax office. This need has been on hold for the recoup time for bro. So much catchup still to do! Now to remove the extender seat with handrails from our potty😳😀 And the fun and games carry on! Mumsee’s cornhole game sounds like a lot more fun.

  8. And covid is making the rounds again, we’ve had several folks out with cases in the past couple weeks; it’ll hit like flu season going forward, I suppose. Thankfully, for now, it doesn’t seem to be as intense or as serious as it was in its earlier iterations, at least for most folks. -dj

  9. Behavioral health told him to carry on as we have been. The state will be able to step in after she commits a crime and gets arrested. Same thing we have been told by multiple sources.
That should give us a better understanding of those mass shootings and why the family did not get help.
