  8. Traitor, to America and its values.

“Biden’s talk and his actions on Israel are completely schizophrenic.

With the one hand he speaks in glowing terms about America’s commitment to Israel.

And with the other, he crafts policies that have delivered $70+ billion into Iranian coffers.

He’s also awarded “humanitarian grants” to Gaza tallying nearly $1 billion since taking office. How much of this money has directly funded the murder of Israeli civilians?

Biden visited Israel and told the world the Palestinian Authority is a legitimate alternative to Hamas’s leadership of Gaza. But on Friday, the P.A. issued a guidance to its Mosque preachers with a passage from the Hadith which quite literally calls for genocide:

“The time will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and the Muslims kill them, until the Jew hides behind the stones and the trees and the stones or the trees say, ‘O Muslim, O Servant of God, this is a Jew behind me. Come and kill him.’”

When will Democrats realize that Palestinian and Iranian appeasement and financing will only lead to more dead Jews?

    Or is that the point?”

““I just saw indescribable, raw footage of Hamas’ massacre along with 100 other international journalists”

“Hamas terrorists enter a house, where a small girl is seen hiding under the table. After some talking back and forth they shoot and kill her as she hides under the table. Hard to say how old she is but looks like 7-9 years old.””

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2023/10/i-just-saw-indescribable-raw-footage-of-hamas-massacre-along-with-100-other-international-journalists/

“We reported yesterday that Israel was planning on providing a viewing of raw footage from Hamas and other terrorist bodycams, Israeli dashcams, and security cameras, in light of the denialism being spread about Hamas butchery.

    That showing took place today:

The Israeli government on Monday screened for 200 members of the foreign press some 43 minutes of harrowing scenes of murder, torture and decapitation from Hamas’s October 7 onslaught on southern Israel, in which over 1,400 people were killed, including raw videos from the terrorists’ bodycams.

The government said it had decided to show journalists part of its collected documentation in order to dispel what a spokesperson characterized as “a Holocaust-denial-like phenomenon happening in real-time,” as doubts have been raised around the world about some of the most horrific of Hamas’s atrocities.

Journalists were not permitted to record the screening, which took place on a closed military base.

The footage was collected from call recordings, security cameras, Hamas terrorists’ body cameras, victim dashboard cameras, Hamas and victims’ social media accounts, and cellphone videos taken by terrorists, victims and first responders. Over 1,000 civilians were slaughtered by the terrorists, and at least 224 people were abducted.

In one pair of videos that were screened, Hamas terrorists are seen dressed in IDF uniforms, flagging down passing cars and then shooting their occupants.

Dead bodies are dragged out of vehicles and left in the middle of the road after terrorists rifle through their belongings and in some cases steal the blood-soaked, bullet-ridden cars.

In another video, first responders are seen pouring bottled water over still-smoldering bodies, hoping to snuff out the remaining embers.

In another, a man writhes on the ground, bleeding from his stomach, as a terrorist tries repeatedly to decapitate him with farming equipment. The man appears to be southeast Asian, possibly one of Israel’s foreign agricultural workers.

In another clip, from after the assault, an Israeli woman is seen trying to work out if a partially burned woman’s corpse, with a mutilated head, is that of a family member. The dead woman’s dress is pulled up to her waist and her underpants have been removed.

Major Gen. Mickey Edelstein, who briefed reporters after the viewing, said that “we have evidence” of rape but “we cannot share it,” declining to elaborate further….

In the second segment, captured through a call recording application on a victim’s phone, a different son reaches out to a different father. “Dad, I killed 10 with my bare hands,” the terrorist excitedly tells his father in Gaza. “Their blood is on my hands, let me speak to Mom.”

“Please be proud of me, Dad,” he adds.

Identified by his father as Mahmoud, the terrorist says he is calling his family from the phone of a Jewish woman he’s just murdered, and implores them to check his WhatsApp messages for further documentation.

Here is a Twitter thread from one of the international journalists who viewed the footage:”

  10. Accuracy used to matter. Now it’s all about the agenda and the narratives they seek to push.

“Associated Press Reporters Can Only Describe Hamas Terrorists as Militants, ‘Fighters, Attackers, or Combatants’

Hamas is a terrorist organization filled with terrorists. It’s that simple.”

    https://legalinsurrection.com/2023/10/associated-press-reporters-can-only-describe-hamas-terrorists-as-as-militants-fighters-attackers-or-combatants/

“The Associated Press will not allow its reporters to identify Hamas as a terrorist organization.

It’s weird because the AP even admitted that the government has designated Hamas as a terrorist organization.

There is so much wrong in the Israel-Hamas Topical Guide (AP’s emphasis):

    terrorism

The calculated use of violence, especially against civilians, to create terror to disrupt and demoralize societies for political ends.

The terms terrorism and terrorist have become politicized, and often are applied inconsistently. Because they can be used to label such a wide range of actions and events, and because the debate around them is so intense, detailing what happened is more precise and better serves audiences.

“Therefore, the AP is not using the terms for specific actions or groups, other than in direct quotations or when attributed to authorities or others,” the AP continued. “Instead, we describe specific atrocities, massacres, bombings, assassinations and other such actions.”

Okay. So, how should reporters describe Hamas? Not as terrorists (AP’s emphasis):

    militant, militants

AP uses this term to describe Hamas, in keeping with the Webster’s New World College Dictionary definition: ready and willing to fight; especially, vigorous or aggressive in supporting or promoting a cause; and Merriam-Webster: aggressively active (as in a cause).

Terms such as Hamas fighters, attackers or combatants are also acceptable depending on the context.

Do not use the term Hamas soldiers or Hamas resistance, other than in direct quotations.

The Israeli army has soldiers. It also can be called the Israeli military. Use its official name, Israel Defense Forces, and the acronym IDF only in direct quotations.

Under the Hamas section, the AP admitted: “The U.S. State Department designated Hamas a terrorist group in 1997. The European Union and other Western countries also consider it a terrorist organization.”

But don’t you dare call them terrorists and a terrorist organization! Holy moly.

The reporters also cannot capitalize the word war. It has to be the “Israel-Hamas war.” Why?

“Lowercase the word war,” the AP explained. “AP capitalizes that word only as part of a formal name, which as of now does not exist.”

Are. You. Kidding. Me. Israel *literally* declared war on Hamas. It is *literally* a war.

The Washington Free Beacon reminded everyone that the AP once shared an office building with Hamas for 15 years.

The AP slammed the Israeli military for destroying the building, including the offices, in 2021: “We are shocked and horrified that the Israeli military would target and destroy the building housing AP’s bureau and other news organizations in Gaza.”

The military targeted terrorists, weapons, and an office for Islamic Jihad, another terrorist organization.

But the AP knew the building had Hamas and terrorists. In 2014, Matt Friedman, a former AP reporter, detailed in The Atlantic:

When Hamas’s leaders surveyed their assets before this summer’s round of fighting, they knew that among those assets was the international press. The AP staff in Gaza City would witness a rocket launch right beside their office, endangering reporters and other civilians nearby—and the AP wouldn’t report it, not even in AP articles about Israeli claims that Hamas was launching rockets from residential areas. (This happened.) Hamas fighters would burst into the AP’s Gaza bureau and threaten the staff—and the AP wouldn’t report it. (This also happened.) Cameramen waiting outside Shifa Hospital in Gaza City would film the arrival of civilian casualties and then, at a signal from an official, turn off their cameras when wounded and dead fighters came in, helping Hamas maintain the illusion that only civilians were dying. (This too happened; the information comes from multiple sources with firsthand knowledge of these incidents.)

I’m glad I don’t have to use the AP stylebook. MLA is far superior, but even that has been taken over by leftists.”

Take that AP stylebook and burn it. It’s useless drivel for weasels.

“SCOOP: School makes Jewish students sign gag order after being attacked

Jewish middle schoolers at @MBUSDnews were reportedly attacked by other students after Hamas attacks on Israel. Some students allegedly said “revenge is beautiful” and “all Jews should be killed.”

The school investigated and concluded that it wasn’t hate speech, the perpetrators received no punishment, and the school made the victims sign a gag order to not discuss the incident.

Since the school doesn’t want anyone discussing it, definitely don’t share this or tag them!””

  17. Come on, with so many real issues to highlight, why generate outrage over AP not capitalizing “war” in “Israel-Hamas war”? That practice is grammatically correct and appropriate. Nobody said this isn’t formally a war, only that it doesn’t have a generally-recognized name.

One of these days the world will settle on one or more names for this war and everyone will capitalize them appropriately. In the meantime, good grief, save the outrage for things that matter.

Oh my, lots of outrage here today. lol

I’ve been busy, couple stories to write, a dog to feed and walk and sample written drivers’ tests to take to prepare for the exam.

I’d agree with Kevin re what to capitalize with regard to this war; this is still a moving target, I think everyone refers to it as a war which seems obvious at this stage. But how it will continue to unfold remains to be seen.

I think someone here had asked me something about extremism (but I’m not seeing the question now — again, busy).

Both parties include a spectrum that makes up a coalition. We all probably know far left and far right vs centrist left and centrist right basically, or I’d hope we do would recognize those differences.

Then there’s the temperament (and also basic character, trustworthiness, maturity, stability), and I think that’s what brought some of us to a full stop eventually with Trump and some of the other MAGA-styled leaders.

With Jordan, many of his supporters generated quite the nasty phone-in campaign to pressure other House members; that, too, was a full stop for many of us for his becoming speaker. It was fueling what was becoming a civil war within the party.

Perhaps Jordan himself had nothing to do with that, but enough of his die-hard supporters did that it was a red flag for some of us who were observers.

Electing a speaker is very important (maybe someone was elected? I’m way behind today). It’s a basic piece of business parties usually can manage.

  19. This year is definitely not business as usual. In. So.Many. Ways.
None of it is a surprise to God. He is the God of Order and Control. The less order and control, the more people look to Him alone as the ultimate authority. How much does it take? All these people vying for power and control and mini-kingdom building. The man-made kingdoms will crash and burn. So sad to watch it all going down, but glad to know the true God whose Kingdom is everlasting. All glory, power, and honor to Him and He who sits on the throne.
