It’s Wednesday, so please remember to pray for Joanne and The Gambia.
Anyone else have something to share?
Psalm 87
Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. A song.
1 He has founded his city on the holy mountain.
2 The Lord loves the gates of Zion
more than all the other dwellings of Jacob.
3 Glorious things are said of you,
city of God:
4 “I will record Rahab and Babylon
among those who acknowledge me—
Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush—
and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”
5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said,
“This one and that one were born in her,
and the Most High himself will establish her.”
6 The Lord will write in the register of the peoples:
“This one was born in Zion.”
7 As they make music they will sing,
“All my fountains are in you.”
Continuing prayer for the real.

Yes, in agreement in prayers for AJ.
Another biggie request is that the little girl awaiting a new heart will get it this afternoon, a twelve hour surgery. Pray for Ellie, please.

Last night, hospitalized daughter was on a roll again. Hopefully they will see that she needs more than we can give her, either medically or housing or both. Prayer that the staff will see her need and help find how to help her.

Kizzie, I know having a mentally relative can sometimes cause a panic if we see things happening in a child’s life. I had a relative that was quite panicked over his daughter’s symptoms. That turned out to be PANDAS. She has a sister with Downs who had similar symptoms after developing a syndrome common to those with that issue. It can be so difficult to know what the truth is sometimes. We can easily overreact, too. Prayers for you and yours.

If you don’t know what PANDAS is, this article helped a friend:

Continued prayers for AJ and all above.
Thank you also for your prayers for Tim and Teena and family and their fellow travelers. Here is an article my sister saw today about their Israel trip. Tim is quoted extensively. All of their group have gotten out of Israel now, some have returned to the U.S., and the others are expected to get back today.

Thanks for the article, 6. Glad to hear the good outcome for the group.
I am still waiting to hear an update on little Ellie’s surgery. It’s happening a few miles from our home. Twelve hlurs. I can not imagine.

Thank you for the mention of, and article about, PANDAS. But this situation with Boy has been coming on for a while. It has not come out of the blue. Even so, we will consider what the article says. Thank you.

My only point was that we can assume something is mental illness or signs of it, because we have a heightened awareness of it. That is especially difficult when dealing with preteens and teens, who are in such a emotional period of life. Prayers for wisdom for all, Kizzie.
