Prayer Requests 8-24-23

It’s Thursday, so please remember to pray for Jo and the people of PNG.

Psalm 43

1 Vindicate me, my God,
    and plead my cause
    against an unfaithful nation.
   Rescue me from those who are
    deceitful and wicked.
2 You are God my stronghold.
    Why have you rejected me?
   Why must I go about mourning,
    oppressed by the enemy?
3 Send me your light and your faithful care,
    let them lead me;
   let them bring me to your holy mountain,
    to the place where you dwell.
4 Then I will go to the altar of God,
    to God, my joy and my delight.
   I will praise you with the lyre,
    O God, my God.

5 Why, my soul, are you downcast?
    Why so disturbed within me?
   Put your hope in God,
    for I will yet praise him,
    my Savior and my God.

  3. Please pray for a full and speedy recovery for KJ, my 30-year-old daughter. Last week a previously-unknown “benign” tumor bled into her abdomen and we had a very scary night in the ER. She’s still in the hospital getting her strength back, and there are unanswered questions about some persistent symptoms she’s had since then.

  6. Lifting up KJ, Kevin.
    Heavenly Father, please put a healing touch upon KJ. Please make evident what if anything needs to be done so she can feel back to good health. I pray anxieties will be cleared and full trust in You will settle in. Please be with the whole family in special felt ways as they navigate this stressful time. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen
