  1. 1000 missing, yet the clowns in Congress want to attach more Ukraine money to the relief bill.

How about we try some of that America first stuff?

  2. The media is still garbage, and still running cover for the Dems responsible.

  3. But it’s OK, haven’t you heard, Orange Man Bad, so half of our side plays along like sheep.

“Let’s get this straight: The Democratic Party lied for years about Donald Trump being a traitor thus causing spying on his campaign and years of undermining a duly elected president based on concocted “evidence” that was actually planted by Hillary Clinton and the DNC and was later proven to be baseless or outright lies.

    No consequences.

Joe Biden sold political influence to the highest bidder to benefit the Biden crime family to the tune of tens of millions of dollars while his son offered no legitimate services in return and selling the Biden “brand” as part of a protection racket and then made ‘quid pro quo’ threats of withholding foreign aid as pressure to fire a prosecutor that was investigating his son’s firm while copying his son on official government business using multiple aliases in a foreign nation where the U.S. is involved in an unconstitutional proxy war that risks a nuclear exchange and is run by a corrupt leader who is undoubtedly blackmailing the U.S. president with “dirt” that has gained him 44 aid packages and that was the subject of a sham impeachment of a former sitting president.

    No consequences.

Donald Trump is “guilty” of seeking legal remedy for a rigged election where multiple swing states unconstitutionally changed election laws to allow difficult-to-verify mass mail-in ballots based on a Covid pandemic with a 99.7% survival rate and allowed private billionaires to unjustly plant mail-in ballot boxes in predominately heavy blue districts causing him to speak out about the injustice thereby getting him impeached and now indicted four times on concocted charges invoking novel legal theories but only after seeking re-election under a sitting president who has committed illegal acts that make his rival’s violations pale in comparison thus committing election interference of the highest order.

Consequence: 700 years in prison and barred from running from the presidency.

This entire political system in America is now “rigged.””

  5. I keep telling you, they impeached Trump to hide the dirt he was digging for on Biden. Dirt that we now know was clearly there.

  6. Do those who tweet why isnt the media covering this — do they not google to make sure they haven’t. CBS, Bloomberg, Guardian, etc reported 1000 missing over 5 days ago. And there’s been mention of a 1000 still missing ever since. It’s in the news – perhaps those on twitter need to expand their reading. And a better question is why did it take right wing twitter a week to notice a 1000 missing?

And from what I understand Ukraine aid and Hawaiian aid are in the same spending bill .

  7. That was the most generous description of Trump’s post election activities. Myopic vision doesn’t even begin to explain it

Hunter has a brilliant lawyer. Threaten to call the President to the witness stand – turn the trial into a circus and a constitutional crisis. Well played. Any prosecutor under any administration would cave.

  10. HRW and Kizzie,

So your OK with this Maui story being pushed under the rug already?

Reported 5 days ago and then rarely mentioned again, because it makes Dems look bad. Are you two keep gonna pretending it’s not a big story that warrants further coverage, what with a 1000, mostly kids, still missing?

Just like it would be if Trump was in charge, right?

  12. If Trump was president the media would be blaring this 24/7, but not when a Dem is in charge.

“Two weeks, how many lives, incredible suffering, mind-blowing incompetence: Active duty US military STILL not asked to help”

“And now? “Officials are worried about possible rain from Tropical Storm Fernanda, worsening a growing humanitarian disaster on the ground.”

Every last official – are all worthless. I am 100% in concert with the folks on Maui – Lahaina specifically – who told reporters during interviews during this weekend’s network news (which now seems to have been scrubbed of those comments) they wanted nothing to do with Biden visiting.

As in: Just stay away. You’re worthless.

800 people are still missing. The Hawaiian “disaster response” team is a disaster in itself, as is the governor’s shameful, shameless performance.

You know officials know it’s a disaster because of the media intimidation and lockdowns they’ve been trying to get away with since this whole horrible incident first started. And not just people who came in from outside, as I reported last week when Will Cain was told Lahaina was a “media-free zone.” The editor of the local Maui Times has been repeatedly buffaloed trying to keep her own people informed about their own situation. Authorities have blanket smothered information.”

  13. “Maui response is a disaster”

    https://hotair.com/david-strom/2023/08/21/maui-response-is-a-disaster-n572441

“Almost two weeks after the fire in Maui ripped through Lahaina far too little is still known, far too little has been done to help the victims, and not enough attention has been paid to the series of government failures that led to the worst wildfire losses in American history.

Instead what we have seen on top of the human tragedy is yet another disastrous series of events that has undermined public trust in government and spawned a thriving industry in conspiracy theories of varying plausibility.

I’ve written a couple of articles about the fire, but the surprising thing is how little there is to say because despite the scale of the disaster and the fact that it happened in one of the most traveled regions of the world the flow of information has been a trickle and not a flood.

There are of course news stories about the fire, and their tone has shifted pretty dramatically from the initial “see how bad global warming is” stories to ones that are a bit more substantive. But given the scale of the disaster and its location, you would expect more actual information than we have gotten.”

“Most Americans have heard the number of confirmed dead, which has hovered around 100 for a week or more. What most people don’t grasp is that this is the number of bodies found and that the number of missing people who are likely dead has also been hovering around the same number, but that number is over a thousand.

Meaning that the likely number of dead is around 1100 people. Lahaina has a population of less than 13,000, meaning that it is likely that about 8% of the residents died, many of whom will never be found.

Of those an uncounted number–according to the Mayor of Lahaina, who is stonewalling, literally uncounted–of children are missing. When asked about how many children may have died he simply won’t say.”

Yes, how dare some ask questions. It ruins it for all if they do?

Seems like all of this is something the media should be all over. And yet…..

  14. AJ — the media reported on the fires almost immediately, that is August 8, and is still reporting. The left side of the internet was blaming corporate profiteering and climate change three days after the fire started. A quick google search of the news shows the media is still reporting on the fire, the missing, the aftermath etc. I really don’t see how right wing twitter makes their case for the media ignoring the facts. Check the different media pages – they have Hawaii stories. Right now Hurricane Hilary and Trump are above them but it’s still there.

Its only recently, the last five days, I’ve seen the right side of the twitter discussing the fires and it seems only to blame Biden which is bizarre – he didn’t push the electric poles onto dry grass and he doesn’t control the water. Media free zones are common at disasters – rescue and recovery finds the media to be in the way. So far I haven’t seen anything to suggest a real screw up – except corporate profit to start it and to let it grow. The Democratic type sites I follow have interviews with Hawaiians happy with the help they’ve received – of course it’s biased. The far left is upset the federal gov’t has confiscated some of the cruise ships to house the residents. And of course they want the corporate CEOs responsible to be arrested. It appears everybody is using the fires to further their own agendas

  15. Trump’s crimes? Did you read the indictments – there’s the answers.

Right now he’s been found responsible in civil court for sexual assault.

The mar-a-lago case accuses him of mishandling top secret documents, improper storage and stonewalling the archives when they wanted them back.

Atlanta has accused him of RICO and other charges mostly based on the phone call to the Georgia Secy of State and the trip his staff made to a rural county to take apart a Dominion voting machine.

Smith’s cases involve organising fake electors to subvert the election, incite a riot, and pressuring Pence.

I don’t know why you ask me – it’s in the indictments. So-called legal experts argue in the media on the validity of the charges and whether its criminal – my guess is some will be found criminal and others not.

  16. AJ – Like HRW said, the Maui fires are indeed being covered. Just look at your post at 8:29 with a video from the CBS Evening News from today.

  17. hw: I asked you b/c you claimed on Aug 18th that Pres. Trump committed crimes. Now you’re backtracking, claiming that various folks have accused Pres. Trump of having committed crimes. Folks who are politically-charged and are actually acting at the behest of others (look behind the curtain). They are clearly engaging in election interference (b/c they know who would win a free and fair election).

I don’t know how y’all do things up north, but in the US, citizens aren’t normally declared guilty until they’ve had their day in court.
