A psalm of David. When he fled from his son Absalom.
1 Lord, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!
2 Many are saying of me,
“God will not deliver him.”
3 But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
4 I call out to the Lord,
and he answers me from his holy mountain.
5 I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.
6 I will not fear though tens of thousands
assail me on every side.
7 Arise, Lord!
Deliver me, my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
break the teeth of the wicked.
8 From the Lord comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people.

Praying for AJ this morning. Praising God for seeing AJ through this round.
Praising God, also, that Art’s ankle is better so no need to go to doc this time.
Thank you for your healing prayers.
Sometimes God works quickly and sometimes within a long process. His choice, His way. Praising Him through either way!

Daughter has decided to move to New York with her married boyfriend. First she plans to get a job, give two weeks notice, and save enough to get there and rent a place. Prayers.

Which of the daughters, Mumsee? You have two in transition. I assume the younger one without children, but the one with children has such wild ideas that this could be her plans, too?

The one to whom we are guardians. Twenty one. We have of course, told her no. But we have no authority to stop her. Hence the numbers of mentally ill homeless.

I doubt she will get a job that pays enough to provide that amount of money in two weeks. Not a legal one.

Meanwhile, husband took the cough that never ends back to the doctor. She is ordering pulmonary tests.

Prayers for husband to get diagnosis and something to give relief. He must be so exhausted. Coughing requires a lot of energy.
Father God, please provide for Mike this day to get what he needs that will put an end to his coughing. You know the source, the true diagnosis, and the remedy. Please let Jesus reach down from the heavenly realm and give a healing touch to Mike to settle his lungs, to relieve inflammation, and to give him his life back from this ailmentut. You have the exact needed remedy, Lord. Please release it to clear his illness today. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

Amen, prayers for all.
Neighbor who still needs 2nd knee replacement (last one was canceled at the very last minute — like as they were wheeling her in — due to a couple skin spots surgeon noticed) has appointments to get one of the skin things removed (2 others already done). Nothing serious, which is good. But once that’s over, she’ll need to reschedule the knee surgery. Again.
She’s frustrated, understandably.
