Prayer Requests 7-7-23

It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the nestlings.

Anyone else have something to share?

Psalm 148

Praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord from the heavens;
    praise him in the heights above.
Praise him, all his angels;
    praise him, all his heavenly hosts.
Praise him, sun and moon;
    praise him, all you shining stars.
Praise him, you highest heavens
    and you waters above the skies.

Let them praise the name of the Lord,
    for at his command they were created,
and he established them for ever and ever—
    he issued a decree that will never pass away.

Praise the Lord from the earth,
    you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,
lightning and hail, snow and clouds,
    stormy winds that do his bidding,
you mountains and all hills,
    fruit trees and all cedars,
10 wild animals and all cattle,
    small creatures and flying birds,
11 kings of the earth and all nations,
    you princes and all rulers on earth,
12 young men and women,
    old men and children.

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
    for his name alone is exalted;
    his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
14 And he has raised up for his people a horn,
    the praise of all his faithful servants,
    of Israel, the people close to his heart.

   Praise the Lord.

  1. mumsee says

    Prayer for brother and wife. Her sister, a lifelong diabetic, was found unconscious by her husband. Ambulance took her to the hospital where she was entubated. She is making her way back. They need to drive over to Tacoma to visit her in icu. Sis in law is stressing over many things, they need Christ. So his visit was cut short.

  2. Prayers for them, Mumsee. Jesus foremost, and healing to enjoy life in Him to the full. Once awakened to spiritual life in Jesus, people havr a whole new dimension to life to discover. I pray that for them and for your father and others we know of through this blog. May healings in all arenas take place fast as a twinkle in the eye.

  3. Prayers for D, the cat rescue person — close friend of a (now deceased) mutual friend — who brilliantly matched me up with Annie Oakley back in the day. She was diagnosed a couple weeks ago with colon cancer and is going through a series of tests, but not a lot of answers yet about treatments etc. She’s mentioned online not feeling right but doctors weren’t able to find anything (until they did 😦 ).

  4. Our friend, Mitch, is doing better in his new hospital. He may have developed heart issues, though, and still has much healing to do. The staff has been far better than the last place he was in.
