Psalm 146

1 Praise the Lord.

   Praise the Lord, my soul.

2 I will praise the Lord all my life;
    I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
3 Do not put your trust in princes,
    in human beings, who cannot save.
4 When their spirit departs, they return to the ground;
    on that very day their plans come to nothing.
5 Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob,
    whose hope is in the Lord their God.

6 He is the Maker of heaven and earth,
    the sea, and everything in them—
    he remains faithful forever.
7 He upholds the cause of the oppressed
    and gives food to the hungry.
   The Lord sets prisoners free,
8  the Lord gives sight to the blind,
    the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down,
    the Lord loves the righteous.
9 The Lord watches over the foreigner
    and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
    but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.

10 The Lord reigns forever,
    your God, O Zion, for all generations.

   Praise the Lord.

  1. Our friend, Mitch, was having his toe removed this morning. His mother is very concerned about his care. Both are strong Christians. She has already lost three of her children and her husband.

  3. I have been out mowing in the heat. My plans fell through for seeing The Sound of Freedom with Art today. Theater times had changed.

    While mowing I was lifting AJ and others I know with cancer. May God demolish cancer cells through treatments, procedures and miracles. In Jesus’ name, Amen

    I am breaking from mowing. The sounds of thunder greeted me when I turned the mower off. Also, music from my Glorify app was playing on the phone in my pocket. How did that get turned on?

    Also lifting up AJ. Janice, Kim , Jo and Mrs B this morning….and 6 ❣️

    I have had an awful morning with reflux spasms…thinking the seed bearing fruits in that salad yesterday afternoon may be the trigger. Just feeling miserable all morning….

  12. Please pray for a young woman (I think her name is Lizzy) who will be having (or is currently having) a C-section today. Her baby boy is breach, and the amniotic fluid is very low. (Also, please pray for her salvation, and the salvation of the baby’s father. He is the son of a friend from church.)
