Prayer Requests 6-22-23

Psalm 136

1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
2 Give thanks to the God of gods.
His love endures forever.
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.

4 to him who alone does great wonders,
His love endures forever.
5 who by his understanding made the heavens,
His love endures forever.
6 who spread out the earth upon the waters,
His love endures forever.
7 who made the great lights—
His love endures forever.
8 the sun to govern the day,
His love endures forever.
9 the moon and stars to govern the night;
His love endures forever.

10 to him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt
His love endures forever.
11 and brought Israel out from among them
His love endures forever.
12 with a mighty hand and outstretched arm;
His love endures forever.

13 to him who divided the Red Sea asunder
His love endures forever.
14 and brought Israel through the midst of it,

15 but swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea;

16 to him who led his people through the wilderness;

  1. ~ “June 22: Pray for God’s protection of marriages, young and old. Ask that God keep temptation and sin at bay. Pray for forgiveness in the face of conflict and hope in the valley of trial. May the God protect and preserve this image of the Gospel for His glory.

    Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her to make her holy, cleansing her with the washing of water by the word. He did this to present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or anything like that, but holy and blameless. (Eph 5:25-27)” ~

  3. I could use prayer when you think about it.
    I am struggling and have been for a while. All of my blood work is normal. There is nothing “wrong” with me.
    I am angry and short tempered. I feel like no one care about me. They only care about what I can do for them
    While the past couple of years in real estate has been financially good it has not been mentally good.
    I am tired and even more tired of dealing with other people’s problems. I am good at it but after a while I just want to scream at them to grow up and figure it out.

    You are not alone. I am understanding your frustration and sitting alongside hoping those in our lives exhibiting this behavior will indeed grow up and notice what others are doing and and what they are not!
