Psalm 126

A song of ascents.

1 When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,
    we were like those who dreamed.
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter,
    our tongues with songs of joy.
   Then it was said among the nations,
    “The Lord has done great things for them.”
3 The Lord has done great things for us,
    and we are filled with joy.

4 Restore our fortunes, Lord,
    like streams in the Negev.
5 Those who sow with tears
    will reap with songs of joy.
6 Those who go out weeping,
    carrying seed to sow,
   will return with songs of joy,
    carrying sheaves with them.

  6. ~ “June 10: Pray for transgender individuals who now wish to de-transition. Pray for wise counselors and a network of support who will point them to the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, and Prince of Peace.

    For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. (Isa 9:6)” ~

    And in case I don’t get here until late tomorrow, as it’ll be a busy day with church in the morning and then celebrating Chickadee’s birthday (which is today) in the afternoon, here is the prayer for tomorrow:

    ~ “June 11: Pray for revival. May the work begin in our own hearts and extend to our families, churches, community, nation, and world.

    Will you not revive us again
    so that your people may rejoice in you?
    Show us your faithful love, LORD,
    and give us your salvation. (Psa 85:6-7)    ” ~
