🔥 Newly-elected Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna sits on the House Oversight Committee, which is currently investigating the Biden Crime Family and working to pry Ukrainian-sourced bribery documents out of the FBI. Yesterday evening, Luna tweeted this jaw-dropping update:
Her tweet reveals two new scraps of information: that Biden is alleged to have gotten a $5 million dollar bribe from the foreign national, and that the FBI is scared that the informant could get Clintoned.
🔥 Yesterday, the New York Post ran a laughable story headlined, “Adams Floats Idea of New Yorkers Housing Migrants in ‘Private Residences’.”

To give you an idea of the scale of the problem, the Post reported that over 72,000 people have flooded into New York City this year, with over 45,000 currently enjoying accommodations in 160 taxpayer-funded emergency shelters and luxury hotels. The problem is, the aliens are coming in faster than the City can find new places to stuff them.
So the Mayor of New York had a massive brainstorm that didn’t even hurt very much. Eureka! He conceived the astounding idea of turning illegal aliens into roommates, thereby creating additional migrant storage capacity:
“There are [New York State] residents who are suffering right now because of economic challenges. They have spare rooms. They have locales,” the mayor said, arguing his private residence proposal could put money back in the pockets of taxpayers. “It’s cheaper and it’s a good investment for us to go to a family and assist them instead of placing people in large congregate settings or in these emergency hotels.”
Adams also announced the City plans to pay churches to house illegal aliens at a rate of $125 per night. Apparently there are already a bunch of liberal churches eager to sign up.
The Post helpfully pointed out the $125 per night rate for housing illegal aliens is more than three times more than the $40 per night rate that New York pays foster families for housing orphaned American kids.
Forty dollars? Wow. We were delighted with ten a day to feed, clothe, transport, train up and house children over the past thirty years as often there was no compensation. It is amazing the depths.
I don’t think so. I thought the plane went to New York and turned around. Sounded to me like the Payne plane where the people on board went unconscious and the Air Force was trying to wake them up.
No, I do not believe a sonic boom would cause a plane to crash. I’m surprised people are making a big deal about this one. Maybe regulations have made them less common. They weren’t unusual when I was growing up in LA in the 60s/70s. In the 80s we’d also hear the space shuttle’s sonic boom when it was approaching Edwards AFB to land.
NJ – apparently involving residents to “adopt” or “sponsor” the homeless is a growing trend. My local council debated whether to create a registry so those willing to allow homeless people to pitch a tent in the backyard or have an extra room could be matched to those in need. It would be similar to the refugee sponsorship program our federal government runs which allows individuals, civic groups, churches etc to sponsor refugees.
Interestingly it was those on the (far) left who represent wards with the most homeless who voted against it. They felt the state was abdicating its responsibility. In addition, they said creating a registry would intrude on people’s privacy.
Municipal elections in Ontario are non-partisan i.e. no parties are involved but it’s fairly obvious where councillors are on the political spectrum. My councilor, of course, is on the far left.
I don’t have a problem with the idea but I think my councilor is right – its intrusive and a band aid. On an ad hoc basis, people could certainly help out their neighbours who live in a tent etc but getting the state involved isn’t helpful since the gov’t often criminalizes poverty.
City by-laws are enforced on a complaint basis only so the encampments in public parks in my neighbourhood are quite common. Some of my neighbours will never call the police or by law enforcement as a matter of principle while my other neighbours think that the homeless are their neighbours in need. In either case, the homeless encampments will never be dismantled here.
Mumsee – I don’t know the pay for foster parents in my area but there are actual corporations who run for profit group homes for older kids so there must be money in it. I’ve had a few “crown ward” students who lived in these group homes. The kids aged from 12 to 18 with bunk beds and rooms shared with four or more people. They smoked a lot of weed and waited til their 18th birthday. Some did okay (one who looked me up now works in a local hospital) but others are probably on the streets. We warehouse the poor and let them out to become drug addicts and then blame them.
Just left meeting for House Oversight. The @FBI is afraid their informant will be killed if unmasked, based on the info he has brought forward about the Biden family.
So much for free expression and the 1st Amendment, huh?

They worked as hard as possible to demonize Christians and get many of us to go along with it, and now we have a country where a man can be arrested for PRAYER while….that stuff is celebrated. This is despicable.
We had smoke from the fires in Canada a few weeks ago. It was awful and the sun was not seen for a week! I cannot fathom how difficult it is for the firefighters and emergency personnel fighting the flames🙁

So a question for which I can find no answer is could a sonic boom cause a small plane to crash? Especially since it was in such close proximity?
