It was cold in the house when I got out of bed so I pulled on a hooded sweatshirt. Then I discovered I’d pulled it on backwards with the hood in the front. It looked like a large cowl neck collar.๐ I showed Art what I had done and then pulled the hood over my face and told him I knew how to get warm๐
Morning!
Oh Janice you are a trend setter!! ๐
Pretty sky behind those birdies up there. And the buds on that tree are a dead giveaway that itโs spring somewhere!!
We had yet another smattering of rain last night — and folks woke up Thursday morning to yet even more snow in our lower mountain and foothill communities. In May. In Southern California where there’s been nothing but dryness for years.
Glad your problem was solved, Anon. I have been dealing with a company for quite a while over a mattress under warranty. The store where we bought it, has been very good. They have always taken care of these cases themselves, but the company will no longer allow that. I didn’t even remember it still under the warranty, although I still had the information. It has been quite a process and seems to be a very bad managed company, IMO. They will replace it, but that doesn’t negate the bad experience. Waiting again to hear from them now.
Yay, editor kicked me loose early today after what’s been a very hectic and busy week and a half with too many stories. Heading over to the neighbors’ in a bit to check out their newly remodeled kitchen!
PT was good today. The weather is still quite cool so I am back in the hooded sweatshirt. Art is riding his exercise bike while we watch Death in Paradise.
Friday has arrived.
It’s Cinco de Mayo, a day celebrated more in the US than in Mexico, even though it has Mexican origins.

Took Abby on a brisk dog walk, weather is perfect, very cool and breezy.
Of course, I came back just in time to see TV feature story on how many injuries occur from dog walks gone wrong every year.
