Prayer Requests 5-3-23

It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget to pray for The Gambia.

Anyone else have something to share?

Psalm 100

A psalm. For giving grateful praise.

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
    come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
    It is he who made us, and we are his;
    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations.

  1. Praying for AJ for a good report tomorrow. And for Jessica in her rehabilitation. And for Mumsee’s daughter, sil, grandchildren, dad, and of course, for Mumsee and Mike. And also for Kizzie and her children, and for all of our children and grandchildren that God would save, restore, and protect. And for all of us, that God will make us fruitful for his kingdom in these turbulent times.

  2. In agreement with your prayer, Debra.

    Thank you for the info on the National Day of Prayer. My phone still will not open the link. It says it timed out. I think my phone is 4G and that is why, but you would think it would encounter the same problem with other sites. The only other site I get this message on is American Cornerstone Institute where I was trying to sign up for a prayer call this week with Ben Carson and other leaders.

  3. I made a post Saturday about the cartwheel. I can still do one. It’s many other things.
    One thing is one I am unable to discuss but it has affected so many other areas of my life. I have lost my confidence. I don’t feel I am good at anything and since this has happened before to me I am seeing myself as unworthy and unlovable. I saw the doctor Monday and am hoping that the medications I take on a regular basis will kick in and help some, but I won’t fix the real problem of what is causing me to feel this way.

  4. Prayers for Guess Who in the battleground of her mind. Lord, please make evident the lies of the evil one speaking into her life. In her weakness help her to know Your strength. All of us are nothing without Your power at work in us. Help her to not fall into the comparison trap. Please innoculate her with immunity from these thoughts that bring her down. May her life be adjusted so You alone are her firm foundation that cannot be shaken by whatever tries to bother and hinder her. Bless her with help in these troubling times to rediscover Your purpose for her and to thrive in Your good plans for her. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

  5. We are firmly in the Hands of the One who will never throw us back. We have great value, enough to die for and we have great purpose in serving Him. All the rest is fluff.

  6. We recently visited Daphne, who is a friend from church in her mid-eighties. She is currently in a nursing home for therapy after getting a hip replacement after falling and breaking her hip. She is a strong believer and usually quite upbeat. She is struggling with the struggle her life has become. I know she would treasure your prayer for her. She was thrilled to have a male nurse, who assured her God will find a way for whatever she is going through. She and her brother have been trying to stay on the family farm, but both have health issues. Pray for wisdom for them both on whether they should move or not.

  7. Praying for you, AJ.

    Heavenly Father, please give AJ a peaceful night’s rest as he puts full trust in You. Help his mind to be lifted up to Your realm with Your goodness leading him forward into tomorrow. I pray he feels Your abiding presence going before him, and within him . . . keeping him steady during fair weather and stormy seasons. Please give him a good report and hope for brighter days even if there should be some more stormy passages. Jesus, You are interceding with all others lifting AJ in prayer. Please take the best care possible of our precious Brother in Christ, AJ, tomorrow. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

  8. Amen and good night. Resting in His care and comfort.
    Aj, guess who, Daphne. Keeping all in His perfect peace…
    oh how He loves you and me…He gave His life, what more could He give…oh how He loves you..oh how He loves me…oh how He loves you and me.. (I sang this song to all my babes as they calmed in my arms and went sweetly to sleep)
