More stuff was released by Tucker last night, so let the teeth gnashing begin anew. 🙂
And what’s been released already has changed the landscape on these malicious prosecutions still taking place as well.
This is what real news reporting looks like, and Julie has been all over this from the start.
is allowed to lie to the public, withhold information, and operate without oversight by Congress.
This agent (or someone) deleted thousands of messages in FBIs "Lync" messaging system–messages relevant to investigation and required to be produced to defense counsel: pic.twitter.com/Ss2tt3XcHB
Even more egregious (maybe?)–FBI accessed emails between one defendant and his attorney and discussed its contents. This agent apparently knew one defendant planned to go to trial.
The judge excused the jury as soon as this info was revealed in court yesterday. Hearing shortly pic.twitter.com/69kztDTEEd
So we also now know that not one member of the Jan6 Farce Committee actually viewed the video in question. Not. A. One.
In stunning admission, the chairman of the J6 committee now confesses he never analyzed any footage before running the made-for-TV show trial with Liz Cheney. Absolutely insane. Even worse than we thought. https://t.co/55Cnfo7HMh
Interesting for Thompson to admit he didn’t control the show trial. If members didn't view footage, who chose to show clips of Pence evacuation? ABC News producers on contract? https://t.co/55Cnfo7HMh
The Qanon Shaman’s attorney says the government didn’t provide him with the exculpatory, non-violent January 6th video aired on @tuckercarlson’s show. If true, this is clear prosecutorial misconduct and this man must be freed from prison immediately.
The government has an obligation to disclose ALL evidence they possess, good or bad, to criminal defendants. Based on the attorney comments tonight on @TuckerCarlson, that didn’t occur. The government must immediately explain why.
They lie right to your face, yet some still believe the garbage they push.
Jean-Pierre condemns Tucker Carlson for telling "a false depiction" about January 6 and then says it was "a violent attack that cost police officers their lives."
Nope, Liz. I’m all for a new Jan 6 committee—it must happen—but this time, Republicans pick witnesses and present evidence.
Republicans won’t ignore the reasons for lax security or intelligence failures. This committee will actually interview FBI director Chris Wray. You didn’t. https://t.co/I8grchnqcp
Speaking of police, this committee will (per your suggestion) re-invite Ofc Dunn and Fanone to testify. Members will confront Dunn about his lies under oath about racial slurs. And the committee will subpoena Fanone’s body cam footage—which remains under seal to this day.
These clueless and corrupt judges are being exposed as well. They keep allowing the govt to hide exculpatory evidence from defendants, a clear violation of their rights and our legal system.
Despite clear evidence of DOJ/FBI malfeasance in this case, I have no doubt Judge Tim Kelly (Trump appointee) will once again allow DOJ to get away with this.
Tucker Carlson on Chuck Schumer calling for this show to be pulled off the air:
"That's not an argument based on logic, it's based on hysteria and the shame you feel as a weak and terrified person when your lies are exposed." pic.twitter.com/RpbP9QBTqc
So, you think it is cool to withhold evidence that might be exculpatory? MIght that no have made him choose to exercise his right to a trial if the feds had honored the Constitution? Maybe he could get a lower sentence. You should rethink your position. https://t.co/9XrJDh2fGL

"To be clear, both events are bad. But here's the key. We only remember one of them. Why? Because the people in charge of history are liars!" pic.twitter.com/qlHxtMKLhJ
Not only did Democrats have access, records show that they viewed the video of Sicknick, so they knew the claims of his murder were a blatant lie. And they continued to peddle those lies anyway. https://t.co/bmvd8T7E4U
Thompson said he doesn’t think any of the Jan. 6 members themselves ever had access to the footage — they let only staff view it. "I'm actually not aware of any member of the committee who had access. We had a team of employees who kind of went through the video."
Chair of the January 6 committee says members never had access to J6 video? That they hired people–the ABC showrunner and his team–to handle it? Meaning the J6 lawmakers were really just the presenters? https://t.co/l9WDiz3yaf
To be fair, the committee was put in place to produce a pre-ordered outcome. They didn't need to be exposed to any evidence to roll out the playbook guilty verdict. It's politics, not justice.
— @BlueskyandRyegrass (@BlueskyandRyeg1) March 9, 2023
So what, this is supposed to be plausible deniability? “My staff never told me…how was I to know?!?!” This is really disgusting and pathetic.
Seems the American public is interested in seeing the truth for themselves, not what the lie peddlers have been pushing and continue to defend on MSM networks.
Cable News Ratings Overload Tue Mar 7
Fox News had more total and 25 to 54 year old demo viewers than MSNBC, CNN, Newsmax & NewsNation combined.
“Pundits have been lining up to echo Schumer in attacking Carlson for being sleazy and dangerous. But Carlson has gone to some lengths to avoid being irresponsible: he ran the footage he’s used past Capitol police and complied with their requests to avoid security risks.”
—
“Last night, Carlson further explored the biggest and most mystifying question around January 6: how did the Capitol’s security forces, then presided by Democratic House Majority Speaker Nancy Pelosi fail quite so spectacularly? All sorts of intelligence analysts had warned that January 6, the day the 2020 election result was confirmed in the Senate, was likely to be an occasion of angry protests. Yet the Capitol police were unprepared and some of their behavior was perplexing. Asking questions about their failure isn’t dangerous. It’s good journalism.”
—–
Good journalists would have asked for and FOIAed all this video.
But they didn’t bother, they just ran with the Dem narrative, like good little propagandists.
“For more than two years, while they controlled every lever of power in Washington, the Democratic Party and their media allies told a one-sided story about what happened at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
For more than two years, the surveillance footage from the 2021 Capitol riot, aired this week by Tucker Carlson, was kept from the American public by a Democratic Congress so a false narrative became cemented in the public consciousness.
For more than two years, footage that could have exonerated Jan. 6 defendants was kept from their legal teams.
People are in prison because of that cover-up.
Take the footage aired by Carlson Monday night of so-called “QAnon Shaman” Jacob Chansley being escorted around the Capitol by police officers who help him open the door and enter the empty Senate chamber.
It is hard to reconcile these calm and even cordial scenes with the nearly four-year prison sentence Chansley now is serving for “obstructing an official proceeding.”
Contrary to what apologists have been saying since Carlson began airing the footage, all this material has not previously been made available to the J6 defendants, some of whom have been jailed without trial for two years, in violation of their constitutional right to a fair and speedy trial.
Grounds for appeal
New York lawyer Joseph McBride, one of the few heroes of this ugly saga, represents six J6 defendants and says a significant proportion of the 41,000 hours of surveillance footage House Speaker Kevin McCarthy released to Carlson was kept from his clients and should give them “grounds for appeal.”
Chansley lawyer Bill Shipley, also told Fox News legal analyst Jonathan Turley that his defense team “did not have this material.”
McBride says the J6 committee’s deceptions and pejorative comments about “MAGA Republicans” from President Biden “have poisoned the DC jury pool beyond repair,” which also is grounds for appeal.”
“It is egregious the way these people have been treated, for as much as two years pretrial, before any finding of fact. When people find out what has been going on in the DC gulag, it is going to shock the American conscience forever,” the lawyer said.
A new book about the J6 prisoners, “Due Process Denied,” tells a tale of hell in the Washington, DC, “gulag,” the Central Detention Facility in southeast Washington where most have been housed.
Cynthia Hughes writes poignantly of one defendant who committed suicide rather than go back to jail.
The defendants have been kept in a separate unit with mold on the walls, brown water and generally unsanitary conditions, are subjected to 23 hours a day of solitary confinement, denied adequate food, medical treatment and religious services.
Their only solace is that every night at 9 p.m., they gather to sing the national anthem.”
“Seizing an opening in their long war against Fox News, mainstream news outlets are blasting out reports that some of the network’s leading stars appear to have knowingly lied about the 2020 election.
In blanket coverage that echoes reporting on the invasion of Normandy, they are hammering Fox with one-sided court documents that suggest they deceived their audience by pretending Trump might have won when they knew he had lost. The charge that this episode proves Fox is not a legitimate news outlet is overkill, but if the emails and texts released so far are not just cherry-picked tidbits, the actions of some of its hosts were indefensible.
At a time when trust in the media is near all-time lows, it is heartening to see news outlets draw a red line by defining dishonesty as one of our profession’s grave sins. We must never lie to you.
But this raises a question for Fox’s accusers: Do you ever look in the mirror? During the past few years, the New York Times, Washington Post, NPR, CNN, and the many national and local outlets that take their cues from them have advanced a cavalcade of false narratives.
If they are not lying about their commitment to truth, they must honestly believe that:
Donald Trump and his advisors conspired with Vladimir Putin to steal the 2020 election.
Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation.
The summer protests of 2020 were mostly peaceful.
Jan. 6 was a dress rehearsal for civil war.
Antifa is just an idea.
The southern U.S. border is secure.
John Fetterman was healthy enough to serve in the Senate.
Only a racist conspiracy theorist could suspect that COVID-19 could have leaked from the Chinese lab that was experimenting with similar viruses.
Critical race theory is only taught in a few law school classes.
The American Revolution was fought to preserve slavery.
Ron DeSantis is seeking to prevent Florida teachers from discussing slavery or saying the word “gay.”
Men can menstruate and give birth.
Six-year-olds are capable of making irrevocable life decisions.
A gang of MAGA Republicans carrying nooses were roaming the frigid streets of Chicago at 2 a.m. when they happened upon Jussie Smollett.
A man repeatedly shouted racial slurs during a Duke v. Brigham Young volleyball game and not a single fan in the crowded arena tried to stop him.
Though far from complete, this list suggests the blizzard of misinformation mainstream outlets are burying us in. You wonder: Are they intentionally dishonest or just damn fools?
Journalists occupy a special place in our society – they are members of the vaunted Fourth Estate – because they are supposed to be honest brokers in a world of shading spinners. Their mandate is to combine open-minded curiosity with unforgiving skepticism to challenge claims.
Instead, they have embraced ideology and result-oriented activism that seeks to shape reality rather than report it, which has eroded trust in the industry – and hurt the country in the process.”
“My governor Tim Walz has decided that kidnapping a child is a good thing if you do it for the right reasons.
He has issued an Executive Order to ensure that the State of Minnesota will protect a child’s kidnapper if they promise it was to sterilize and mutilate him or her.
No, I am not kidding. He apparently likes the cut of Gavin Newsom’s jib and decided to one-up the California governor by foregoing the niceties of passing an unconstitutional law and simply issuing an executive order.
There is, of course, an “emergency” that requires him to do this. Children, you see, live in states where their “right” to have their breasts and penises chopped off is under threat. Something, surely, must be done, and Minnesota is the place to do it.
I am not joking or even exaggerating about the protection of kidnapping. The order literally puts the resources of the state behind protecting people who illegally bring a child to Minnesota in order to subject them to experimental, life-altering procedures.”
“The governor’s order is bizarre and appalling, and of course, based entirely upon a ridiculous interpretation of the scientific literature regarding gender care. Nearly every other country in the Western world is pulling back from the mad rush to sterilize and mutilate children; the United States is becoming increasingly isolated in this regard.
For obvious reasons. There is literally no actual science backing up the expansive claims of either the safety of gender-affirming care or the effectiveness of the practices in alleviating the distress that patients suffer.
Worse, there is literally no long-term research regarding the effects over the years, because there simply could not be any. The practices on children are new. What we do know is that the claims regarding side effects being minimal to non-existent are total bunk.
None of this is science. It is an ideology that some scientists are promoting, as some scientists have promoted literally every quack practice in history.”
Never have I been more disgusted by our governor and legislators. Thank God for them fighting for change. God put a fear of God in them all and in our voters. It is going to be a long 4 years.
Once again the DoJ is trying to hide, and delete, evidence.
DOJ rolls out the old “it’s classified!” excuse to halt use of messages concealed by FBI agent found by defense counsel. As I reported this morning, agent caught lying on stand—someone hid required evidence that included messages to doctor, delete FBI material. pic.twitter.com/ZPCZEu1W62
This is what defendants are up against. After abruptly ending cross examination of FBI agent caught lying and concealing evidence and dismissing jury, Judge Kelly is allowing govt and defense to question her WITHOUT jury present today. pic.twitter.com/rH83TNSWuD
This is all so much better than a 2nd Trump term, right?
…They have accused these two journalists as threatening the safety of others by disclosing government censorship efforts. It would all make Joe McCarthy blush.
This is what happens when you leave the media’s self imposed echo chamber. You get banished and shunned by the true believers in the narrative.

You’d think the media might be interested when folks have their civil liberties and rights taken away.
But you’d be wrong. They don’t care, as long as the right people are targeted.
Instead they double down on the lies, because this exposes them too.
