  1. πŸ™‚ We had a wonderful time last weekend, spending time with our daughter’s family. We were able to take in a concert our granddaughter was part of. It was an honor’s choir with eight, or so, different schools involved. The director was so fun and the choir wonderful. Two songs they did were old gospel songs. One my husband’s group has performed, but the other is a new one to me. I recommended the song. The Gaithers do a version and so did Johnny Cash and the Carter Family. (Not together) It is called ‘The Gospel Ship’ and is so uplifting.

πŸ™‚ There is nothing like a grandchild holding on to your legs and crying for you not to leave. πŸ˜‰

πŸ™‚ My daughter helped us pick out some items for a kitchen upgrade. This is her job. I was worn out after looking for a couple of hours. No wonder people pay for this service. She was so helpful.

  2. Wise words from my cousin years ago, who had a professional redo his kitchen.

“I cannot choose between 750 colors! Select the three best options and ask me to choose one!”

    Exactly.

Asking for help like that has aided me many times over the years.

His kitchen, BTW, ended up appearing in a national magazine spread about beautifully remodeled kitchens! LOL

(He shrugged. “It had nothing to do with me. I just signed the checks.”)

  4. Hey, the sun shone today.

It hailed about 1/2 hour ago.

First family dinner at our daughter’s house. My husband is bringing his toolbox. I may bring a few extra forks . . . πŸ™‚
