Prayers for Janice as she begins her radiation treatments today.
Anyone else have something to share?
Psalm 138
Of David.
1 I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart;
before the “gods” I will sing your praise.
2 I will bow down toward your holy temple
and will praise your name
for your unfailing love and your faithfulness,
for you have so exalted your solemn decree
that it surpasses your fame.
3 When I called, you answered me;
you greatly emboldened me.
4 May all the kings of the earth praise you, Lord,
when they hear what you have decreed.
5 May they sing of the ways of the Lord,
for the glory of the Lord is great.
6 Though the Lord is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly;
though lofty, he sees them from afar.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
you preserve my life.
You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes;
with your right hand you save me.
8 The Lord will vindicate me;
your love, Lord, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands.
Lifting up Janice and Aj this morning. Knowing full well our Lord is alongside on this journey… ♥️

Thank you for praying. My stomach has been a bit messed up lately, too. I don’t think it is ftom stress but from food or something like I changed the bottled water I am drinking, etc. Please pray that causes no issues, too. And safety getting to the appointment with the snow on roads. Thank you!

Headed home—weather the main issue.
Please pray for travel mercies—one family is stuck in Boise for who knows when thanks to Southwest Airlines.
The basketball team will lack its center. 😦

Please pray for Chickadee. Most of all for salvation, of course, and for deliverance from this delusion she is under.
When she was here over Christmas weekend, Nightingale asked her what medications she is on, as she was taking some pills. I don’t remember exactly what they were, except for the Wellbutrin for depression, but there were four of them for depression, anxiety, and ADHD.
I am not against medication in general, but I can’t help wonder if she is being medicated wrongly to cover up confusion, anxiety, and depression caused by trying to live according to that delusion. Her therapist, and I assume also the psychiatrist in charge of prescribing these meds, seem to be encouraging her in that delusion, as also are her dearest friends, the McK sisters.
Please pray for a spiritual, mental, and emotional breakthrough for her, that I know can only come from God.

Praying, Kizzie. So hard when the medical people many rely on are steering them in an unhelpful direction.

More family deciding to drive from Boise home—11 hour drive in good weather—after the Southwest debacle.
They’re traveling through much more difficult weather and through the Sierras in a car not their own.
Please pray for safety for them.
We’re all dealing with high wind conditions. Worse for them.

Prayers for all of the above and also asking that you continue to pray for Mr. P.
There was a mix up at the hospital and no pain meds were ordered for him. When you are in the hospital they naturally want to control the meds you take so he did not pack any of his normal pain meds because the assumption is the nurses will give them to you. When he was put up on the floor to spend the night, the nurses had nothing to give him. So in addition to his normal everyday pain, he also had an incision, screws and plates inserted and a pounding headache.
They couldn’t get in touch with anyone to 1or 1:30 am.
While I understand his anger and frustration, he just will not let it go. He has been on the phone with everyone from the Florida Health Department, Regulation of Hospitals on down. Today he spoke with the “charge” nurse.
He is accusing them of malpractice.
In my opinion he didn’t die. Be thankful the surgery looks to be a success and you didn’t die.

Have I mentioned how grateful I am that my dad seems to be stepping back into reality from his delusional world? Death of a loved one can hit hard, especially for those who have no hope. Praying that his eyes will be opened, his heart be made new, and he will enter into eternal life.

Prayers for all.
That’s good news about your Dad, Mumsee. A loss like that can leave your mind numb.

Great news from my childhood friend about the preemie and her mom, J, going through chemo
J started round 4 of chemo today, which means we got updated blood labs: her numbers continue to go down!
One of the tumor markers is now in normal range (as in we all have it at this level) and the other cut in half again 💪🔥💥
Harper update
Another week or week and a half.. she took a step back with bottle feeding because she lost a little weight – common as they exert so much energy to feed.
So she’s at 2-3 bottles per shift right now but she took 3/4 overnight and 2/2 so far today. Two steps forward, one step back. Same thing happened with the breathing support – this girl has a tendency to bite off a little more than she can chew.
So thankful.
Miserable traffic in the rain, just south of Portland. Hoping to reach Medford tonight.
No news on the travelers headed west.
