Prayer Requests 12-14-22

It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget to pray for The Gambia.

Anyone else have something to share?

Psalm 129

A song of ascents.

“They have greatly oppressed me from my youth,”
    let Israel say;
“they have greatly oppressed me from my youth,
    but they have not gained the victory over me.
Plowmen have plowed my back
    and made their furrows long.
But the Lord is righteous;
    he has cut me free from the cords of the wicked.”

May all who hate Zion
    be turned back in shame.
May they be like grass on the roof,
    which withers before it can grow;
a reaper cannot fill his hands with it,
    nor one who gathers fill his arms.
May those who pass by not say to them,
    “The blessing of the Lord be on you;
    we bless you in the name of the Lord.”

  1. Good morning, all. Snow is coming down this morning. I have son doing dishes this morning before chores as too many of them came out of the drainer dirty from his last washing. We go through a lot of dishes now, handy to have two living dishwashers available. Just have to up his game. She has stepped up to actually cleaning the counters and putting food away so that is a big help.

  2. Why is this nonsense on the prayer thread? Well, since we are here….
    Today the intake nurse comes by for hospice. Dad is resistant to any medical services so asking for wisdom on how to get him to understand this is right down his line of thinking.

    Rest for husband. Both dads were up with me until midnight, then I got mine to bed and got husband up. His dad went down about two thirty. Still working out the details.

    So: wisdom, patience, peace, joy.
