Prayer Requests 6-13-22

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 121

A song of ascents.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
    where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
    he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.

  1. Thank you for praying. The lump appears cancerous so I have a biopsy next Wed. to verify and consider treatment options. Pray for Art, too. I am okay. I realize God is sovereign and uses suffering to bring about His glory.

  2. Thanks for passing that on about Linda, praying. And for Janice and her imaging test today as well. And for the medical appointments Kathaleena mentioned as well.

  3. Praying Janice, for you, Art, the doctors and nurses too.

    I know it’s hard Sister. You may be OK now, but that won’t always be the case. And that’s OK too. If it is cancer, it will be life changing but you’ve got this. Meanwhile, we’ll pray it’s not, or for healing either way. 🙂

    Try to stay focused on God, your faith, and the blessing of knowing that numerous folks will be petitioning Him on your behalf.

    Praying for the other request for Linda too.

  5. Praying Janice. That is scary even though we know God is in control and loves us.

    That Linda is an aunt of one of my son-in-laws.

    The eye appointment went well. Neither the doctor nor the technician we saw before her knew why my husband would not have passed the eye test. The doctor said it could have been a droopy lid kept him from seeing the light off to the side. He is set up for cataract surgery in July.

    I also was able to go with him for the annual check-up, so was able to get my questions answered and tell the doctor a few things my husband would not. We go to the same doctor, so that was nice to be able to do. It seems we are going to spend quite a bit of the first part of summer in and out of doctor appointments. The plus side is we won’t have to worry about driving in snow and ice. 😀

  6. I’m praying for you, Janice. The lump I had in my 20s was not cancerous, but the waiting for answers can be hard. May the Lord envelop you with abundant peace.
