Prayer Requests 3-26-22

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 58

Do you rulers indeed speak justly?
    Do you judge people with equity?
No, in your heart you devise injustice,
    and your hands mete out violence on the earth.

Even from birth the wicked go astray;
    from the womb they are wayward, spreading lies.
Their venom is like the venom of a snake,
    like that of a cobra that has stopped its ears,
that will not heed the tune of the charmer,
    however skillful the enchanter may be.

Break the teeth in their mouths, O God;
    Lord, tear out the fangs of those lions!
Let them vanish like water that flows away;
    when they draw the bow, let their arrows fall short.
May they be like a slug that melts away as it moves along,
    like a stillborn child that never sees the sun.

Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns—
    whether they be green or dry—the wicked will be swept away.
10 The righteous will be glad when they are avenged,
    when they dip their feet in the blood of the wicked.
11 Then people will say,
    “Surely the righteous still are rewarded;
    surely there is a God who judges the earth.”

  1. The friend we visited last week in Arizona just texted that she’s in the hospital and will have a heart catherization tomorrow. (On Sunday. I’m suspicious they’re moving that quickly).

    Please pray for peace for Linda and that it all goes well tomorrow.

    Thanks.

  2. It does seem quick, M, but maybe there is good reason for that level of concern, maybe to ward off a heart attack? And maybe to get in the pipelIne before the next wave of Covid patients from the new varient?

  3. I thought it peculiar they needed to do it on a Sunday. I didn’t know how to ask that question in a text, so I told her I’d asked from friends to pray for her.

    Which she loved. Thanks.

  4. M (Michelle?) – It does sound like it may be an urgent situation. One of the frustrating things when Hubby was in the hospital for so long was that nothing important got done on the weekends. It seemed that often it was on a Friday that it was determined that he needed a certain test or procedure, which meant that it would be put off until the following Monday or Tuesday.
