Prayer Requests 3-22-22

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 54

Save me, O God, by your name;
    vindicate me by your might.
Hear my prayer, O God;
    listen to the words of my mouth.

Arrogant foes are attacking me;
    ruthless people are trying to kill me—
    people without regard for God.

Surely God is my help;
    the Lord is the one who sustains me.

Let evil recoil on those who slander me;
    in your faithfulness destroy them.

I will sacrifice a freewill offering to you;
    I will praise your name, Lord, for it is good.
You have delivered me from all my troubles,
    and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes.

  1. We just found out a former member of my husband’s music group has a second kind of cancer. He has had a slow-growing type of blood cancer for several years, but this was an unpleasant surprise. He is in an experimental oncology unit right now. Please pray for JJ and his wife as they go through this. They are believers.

  2. So sorry to hear about that combo of cancers, K. Prayers for a miraculous discovery of treatment to help him and many others. Thankful for alternative treatments that hold promises of killing cancer cells. God possesses the keys to cures. Praying for Him to open the door to full recovery. Maybe it is just a prsyer away . . . Thankful they are believers♡

  3. Prayer here as today is the day twenty sets out on her journey. Husband drives them to Boise where they stay with sis in law for the night. Then off to Jerome where she will be signed in to their care. Prayer that she will cooperate and be willing, not letting her fears take over.

  4. The MCA (one of my special people) has a daughter who has been induced to have a baby today. The due date is next week, but they are doing it today, He is only about 3 pounds due to the mother’s health issues.
    Please pray for a safe delivery and a happy, healthy baby boy. He will be named Noah.
    I just shared some tears with the grandmother when she reminded me of the other issue. She is terrified that if something happens to this baby her daughter will never recover from it.
    We really need prayers because as she said, “prayer can go where I can’t go”.
    Thank you.

  5. To the best of my ability, she does. I have shown her pictures of her room and the backyard. I have read their list of rules and their admittance plan. I have explained that their work is to help her achieve her optimal level of functioning. That if she cooperates and follows directions and behaves herself, she will have a nice time. And she may learn some things to help her move forward. If she doesn’t or if they feel she know all they have to teach, they can either discharge her back to us or move her to another facility which better matches her needs. She is excited without being manic. We shall see how it goes tomorrow when it is time to say good bye to dad.

  6. How bittersweet. This may be the best thing for her, and will be good for you and the younger two, but how sad that it has come to this. I don’t even know her but am teary-eyed about her leaving. Praying God’s best for her. (And for all of you.)

  8. One is departing the world she knows and entering the unknown . . . and the baby boy is doing the same in leaving the womb. So much to pray for in both situations. God knows and sees each. May He work miracles if necessary to bring about good life situations in each scenario. May Jesus have a big part is each of their lives so they will be on the high road that is available to all. Being a baby is usually such a short part of life unless trauma causes problems like Mumsee has dealt with.

    Please, Lord, make a straight path forward in these lives made in Your image. Bring them in their lifetimes to saving knowledge of Jesus as Lord and Savior. Please help baby boy’s parents to learn many good lessons of sacrificial love and caregiving and please help the young lady’s caregivers to practice patience and longsuffering in meeting the needs and difficulties of their new charge (in extroidinarily loving ways).

    I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

  9. It seems our relative was taken by ambulance to the hospital again and will be admitted. He is not happy but seems to not want to take his meds again. The family agrees he may have to be forced to go into some sort of assisted living after getting out this time. He is over 70 and does well in institutions, generally. However, it will be a big loss of freedom and money for him. Pray the right decision is made. He wanted my husband to come and get him, but he refused to tell (or couldn’t) why he was found lying on the ground outside of his apartment building. He does love the Lord.
