Continuing to lift the Shulls.
And Tychicus as well.
Anyone else have something to share?
Psalm 47
A psalm.
1 Clap your hands, all you nations;
shout to God with cries of joy.
2 For the Lord Most High is awesome,
the great King over all the earth.
3 He subdued nations under us,
peoples under our feet.
4 He chose our inheritance for us,
the pride of Jacob, whom he loved
5 God has ascended amid shouts of joy,
the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises;
sing praises to our King, sing praises.
7 For God is the King of all the earth;
sing to him a psalm of praise.
8 God reigns over the nations;
God is seated on his holy throne.
9 The nobles of the nations assemble
as the people of the God of Abraham,
for the king of the earth belong to God;
he is greatly exalted.
Prayer for husband under tornado watch.
Prayer for J as she attends the memorial for her husband.
I will be unable to attend. Can’t leave twenty under fourteen’s watch when she is this level of behavior.

A few prayer requests for the prayer warriors: 😉
1. We are helping to get the parents of Natalia (who has served with the Anti-human trafficking ministry in Prague) all the way from eastern Ukraine across Slovakia to the Czech Republic. The plan is for them to then stay overnight with a family in northern Moravia, and then travel to our team house in S. Bohemia and stay there until we get them settled in longer-term accommodation. Please pray for God’s protection over them during this very long trip, and for His provision for all their needs.
2. We are supporting a diocese that is ministering directly in the Ukraine (near the Slovak border) – please pray for God’s protection and strength for that team as they serve mainly in distributing food, drinks, and blankets to hundreds of people daily.
3. Accommodation is now becoming a greater problem for refugees in both Slovakia and the Czech Republic – please pray for God’s provision of new accommodation possibilities over the coming weeks.
4. I will be preaching tomorrow from 1K 17:7-16 – the second in a series from the life of Elijah.

Pray for our president and other leaders — and for all world leaders of good will — as they navigate these dangerous times. Pray for wise decisions and words.
Pray that Putin would either be converted or taken out of power.

Yes. And we pray because he tells us to pray and plead with Him.
From Joe Carter today:
~ Wisdom from a ‘King of Kings’
We might also say, as did one world leader,
I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives forever, for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation; all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, “What have you done?”
Those words, quoted in Daniel 4:34–35, come from the lips of Nebuchadnezzar. As Bob Deffinbaugh says, “This acknowledgment of the sovereignty of God is made by a man who knows more of human sovereignty than any American ever could. Among the kings of history, this king is ‘the king of kings’ (Dan. 2:37).”
If one of the most powerful world rulers in history could recognize that God is sovereign over all men and all nations, those of us who serve the true and ultimate “King of kings” (1 Tim. 6:15) should be able to do the same. We can trust that, whether he stays his hand or allows war to come, God is always in control. ~

Why did I not think of this?
Prayer for daughter as she wades into her sixth hour. She (and I) could use a break. The younger two just went to watch a movie in their rooms.

Lifting her, Mumsee, for God to take charge in the storm and quieten the crashing waves of rage. To just say to her heart, “Be still.” In Jesus, Amen

And just like that… She went out to swing and sing.

I was back reviewing Tychicus’s requests and reread his intro. Can you imagine? Tychicus knows he can come here and ask for prayer and we will join in with our prayers. At the same time, others are asking other prayers to join in and they do. And still more. And then we see that God has His people, spread around the world, praying for His purposes. And He has His people being strengthened by Him through the prayers of the saints. Almost like some sort of plan to take over the world. And then we see Him on His Throne on the crystal sea, surrounded by bowls full of the prayers of the saints.

Daughter has settled down. Husband was able to get some of his tasks done as the weather let up. Thanks!

Friend survived the memorial but it was difficult. So much easier if she knew God.
