  1. 😦 We couldn’t go to watch grandchildren’s Christmas programs because of a snowstorm.

🙂 We should see all but one this weekend when we all celebrate Christmas early. Praying for decent weather and travel for all.

😦 So terribly sad for those caught in the tornadoes.

😦 The mines here are very short of workers, apparently. Some think it is the negative publicity about mining. The salary and benefits are quite good. There is a lot of ignorance about the need for mining and a whole lot of hypocrisy. People want the benefits of mined minerals but have a NIMBY mentality. There are more environmental reviews than most people would believe–some going on decades and millions of dollars spent. Like any industry there are pros and cons to working in it, however all the negative hypocritical reporting does not help. All the better to be a servant of China and losing rain forests in the Philippines etc.

  2. We did not make it to Moscow this week due to utility vehicles parked on our road.

I may have been sick from a contact with family who contacted twenty year old who was sick.

That was evidenced after we opted not to go.

That is a good thing, a God thing. We do not desire to make others ill.

    Husband’s cruise is sparsely populated.

  3. 🙂 So wonderful to have had a full table today with all my coworkers and their families. The youngest was 8 months old with 2 two year olds and a couple of older children. So fun!

I am exhausted but it was worth it. So much fun!
