Prayer Requests 11-24-21

It’s Wednesday, so don’t forget Ajissun and the folks in The Gambia.

Anyone else?

Psalm 110

Of David. A psalm.

The Lord says to my lord:

   “Sit at my right hand
    until I make your enemies
    a footstool for your feet.”

The Lord will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of your enemies!”
Your troops will be willing
    on your day of battle.
   Arrayed in holy splendor,
your young men will come to you
like dew from the morning’s womb.

The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind:
   “You are a priest forever,
    in the order of Melchizedek.”

The Lord is at your right hand;
he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.
He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead
and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.
He will drink from a brook along the way,
and so he will lift his head high.

  1. Finally got a text from Chickadee last night. She says she won’t be able to make it on Friday, but that she would like to get together for lunch sometime in December, before Christmas. She says she has a lot of appointments coming up, but that week mostly works. (I asked her what kind of appointments she has. I also said that I would check with Nightingale as to which day works for her.) (Since then, Nightingale has texted Chickadee to work it out.)

She ended by thanking me for my patience and understanding, and saying that it means a lot to her. And that she loves and misses me. This is, needless to say, not the response I wanted, but I am glad that at least she responded. I didn’t think she was even going to do that.

In my reply, I pointed out that she mentioned getting together for lunch in December, and said that I hope she will also come for Christmas. I really wish I knew what was going on with her and them.

But the fact that not only did she reply, but that she also says she wants to get together for lunch is certainly a positive development. Thanks for all your prayers. Keep ’em coming! 🙂

  2. Kizzie I am so thankful she responded! Continuing to ask our Lord to touch her heart making it soft to hearing truth and rejecting all that come from the pit. That she might truly know the grace and mercy extended to us all through His sacrifice. Trusting Him still…. ♥️

  3. Sounds like daughter is having some sort of episode. We need to head over and try to talk her down or get her hospitalized. Prayers for wisdom and peace.
