  1. This is what the Covid scolds have wrought…

With the help of the woke idiots now commanding our military.

    Talk about un-American….

“How COVID Vaccine Coercion Drove Me Out Of West Point

My unvaccinated friends and I were mocked for being in the ‘dirty’ platoon of only unvaccinated cadets, while officers told trainees to stay away from us.”

“In the spring of 2021 during my first year at the U.S. Military Academy, I was told that my decision to reject getting the “optional” COVID-19 vaccine would not negatively affect my time as a cadet at West Point.

That quickly changed. My Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act medical privacy rights were violated when my vaccination status was released to members of the freshman class and upperclassmen who were planning our summer details, to which an officer stated, “HIPAA isn’t the be-all, end-all.”

Before leaving for the summer, the unvaccinated were forced to attend a “re-education brief” led only by vaccinated personnel. Unvaccinated personnel were not allowed on the panel and it became a very hostile environment of us-versus-them. In this three-hour brief, our questions about natural immunity and health concerns were disregarded and labeled “unscientific.”

During summer training, my unvaccinated friends and I were segregated, ostracized, and mocked. We endured rude comments, while others pointed and laughed at us for being in the “dirty” platoon of only unvaccinated (and therefore masked) cadets. Cadets yelled that we were the “sick” or “dirty” or “anti-science” platoon. Officers told trainees to stay away from us.

After returning to the academy in the fall, unvaccinated cadets were subjected to COVID testing twice a week at 6:00 a.m., even if we didn’t have COVID symptoms. Even though the vaccinated can also contract and transmit COVID, they were not tested, and those who felt sick were denied COVID tests. The leadership purposefully made life miserable for unvaccinated cadets, in what I can only conclude was an attempt to convince us to violate our consciences and blindly follow the rest of the herd.

Denied a pass for being unvaccinated, I was not allowed to leave campus with my friends because our radius was restricted compared to the vaccinated cadets. I could not even take an overnight pass to my sponsor’s house on post, even though the same policy that restricted me from staying overnight allowed me to spend the day there.

I was visibly cast as the “other” when only the unvaccinated had to wear masks (indoors and outdoors). This made it easier for teachers to identify me as unvaccinated, and during my summer class I was the only one in our hot classroom forced to wear a mask for our three-hour class. Ironically, now, everyone must be in masks in the classroom. Many of my teachers scoffed at the idea of students remaining unvaccinated and for making such an unscientific and selfish choice.

I was subjected to this treatment while knowing that some of my fellow cadets had an adverse reaction to the vaccine, including life-changing heart problems. One of these adverse reactions resulting in heart issues happened on the Crew team. That same team kicked my best friend off for being unvaccinated, with her coach saying it “went against [her] ethics” to coach an unvaccinated cadet.

Around the same time, guidance was pushed down that we could not even attend our religious clubs. While this guidance then changed shortly after, no one questioned the unethical nonsense of telling cadets they could sit shoulder to shoulder in a classroom to study calculus, but it was too much of a “health threat” to have us in the same classroom six hours later discussing the one thing that gave us hope and comfort.

The coercion grew worse when the official vaccine mandate paperwork came down on Sept. 27, 2021. The other unvaccinated cadets and I were escorted to an auditorium at 5:45 a.m. We were not allowed to leave without signing a document acknowledging that we were disobeying direct orders.

We had a choice to either be vaccinated, separate, or apply for a religious or medical exemption. At the meeting, we were denied any legal counsel. There were no judge advocate generals or legal advisers available for us to talk to before signing this document, and I was personally told by a colonel that I could not receive counsel before signing the documents.

When I raised the point that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved vaccine (Pfizer’s Comirnaty) with the proper lot numbers had yet to be distributed in the United States, that the only available vaccines were under emergency use authorization and that vaccination must be voluntary under those conditions according to the Nuremberg Code, I was told this small legal distinction didn’t matter.

My friends’ medical exemptions pleading natural immunity have been denied by West Point, contrary to science. We are not aware of any medical exemptions that have been granted. The religious exemptions are still being processed, but denial is assumed. Although I filed a religious exemption, I decided to separate from West Point because the U.S. Army is no longer an organization I can serve in.”

  3. Ask yourself a question….

If these mandates are so necessary, why can they be just put off for 2 more months just for economic reasons?

You know the answer is because they’re really not necessary, just a continuing power grab.

    This is just BS.

“Biden vaccine mandates will hit after holiday season, offering relief to businesses

The announcement follows weeks of pressure from business leaders who complained the rules would wreak havoc on the supply chain and possibly aggravate worker shortages.”

“The Biden administration’s forthcoming vaccine mandates for millions of private employers, certain health care workers and federal contractors will not be enforced until after the holiday season, following weeks of pressure from business leaders who complained the rules would wreak havoc on the supply chain and aggravate worker shortages.

The administration released two new rules on Thursday that will be enforced starting Jan. 4 — one setting up new vaccination-or-test requirements for businesses with more than 100 workers and another implementing a vaccine mandate for health care workers at facilities participating in Medicare and Medicaid. Together, the rules are expected to affect over 1 million workers.”

“Officials also said the administration is pushing back the Dec. 8 deadline for federal contractors to ensure their workers are fully vaccinated, so that all three mandates will go into force on Jan. 4.

While employers were given a brief reprieve from immediately implementing the test piece of the rule, the administration clarified that businesses must be in compliance on Dec. 5 with all other requirements, such as providing paid time off for employees to get vaccinated and requiring unvaccinated workers to wear a mask in the workplace.

Under the rules, workers at private businesses with more than 100 employees will have the option to wear a mask at work and submit to weekly Covid-19 testing in lieu of getting vaccinated. Health care workers and government contractors do not have the testing option.

Unvaccinated workers who claim they have a legally protected exception to getting the vaccine could be fired if their employer says it would be an “undue hardship” to offer remote work or some other accommodation.

Companies that fail to follow the vaccine-or-test rules can be fined up to $14,000 per infraction.

The temporary rules for private employers go into effect immediately and stay in place for six months, but can be directly challenged in the U.S. Court of Appeals.

  7. Stolen elections have huge consequences.

    Socialism doesn’t work.

“Food prices across the world have risen to their highest levels in a decade on the back of tightening supply conditions coupled with robust demand, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

The FAO’s food price index, which measures world food commodity prices, surged 31.3 percent in the 12 months through October, coming in at a reading of 133.2 points, a level not seen since July 2011.

On a month-over-month basis, the index rose by 3.9 points, or 3.0 percent, with the October rise representing the third consecutive month of increases.”

  8. Democrats want the restrictions so they can keep cashing in on govt. programs, like this fraudster.

“Democrat Candidate’s Daughter Pleads Guilty to $300,000 COVID Relief Fraud”

“Damara Holness, 28, daughter of congressional candidate Democrat Dale Holness, appeared at a federal court in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday where she faced serious allegations.

There, Holness told Judge Rodolfo Ruiz she would plead guilty to fraudulently obtaining hundreds of thousands of dollars that had been intended to help small businesses survive the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Holness admitted she applied for a $300,000 forgivable federally-guaranteed Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan for her company Holness Consulting, Inc.

It added: “To justify the requested loan amount, Holness claimed in the online loan application, and through supporting fraudulent payroll tax forms, that her company employed 18 people and spent an average of $120,000 each month on payroll.”

But, it was later discovered Holness Consulting Inc had no employees and no payroll expenses.

Once the money landed in Holness’s account in July 2020, she allegedly spent months fabricating a paper trail to make it appear the company did in fact have employees and was spending the money on approved expenses.

The DOJ statement continued: “Holness issued checks from the company bank account made out to others who agreed, for a fee, to help with the fraud.”

Following Holness’s instructions, the people who received the checks would endorse and return them to her. During the time of the alleged fraud, Holness served as President of the Broward County Democratic Black Caucus.”

  9. And who will recount it and process those mail in and absentee ballots?

Why the Democrats that run the state, of course….

“As of 6 p.m. Wednesday, with 89 percent of the expected vote counted, Murphy was holding on to 50 percent of the vote. Ciattarelli, a former General Assembly member, had 49.3 percent of the vote.

The two men were separated by fewer than 17,000 votes out of nearly 2.4 million cast.

According to NJ.com, thousands of mail-in and provisional ballots had yet to be counted Wednesday afternoon. The outlet added that some counties had not yet reported figures from the heavily Democratic early vote. Once tabulated, those votes are expected to give Murphy an insurmountable lead.

However, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie predicted Wednesday morning that the race would go to a recount.

“There’s a very legitimate chance Jack could win this,” Christie told TownHall.

New Jersey law does not provide for an automatic recount, but any candidate can request a recount within 17 days after an election by applying to a judge of the Superior Court that oversees the district or districts involved in the recount.

Private citizens in New Jersey are also allowed to apply for a recount in groups of at least 10 if they “have reason to believe that an error has been made in counting the votes upon any public question at any election.””

  10. “Biden’s administrative state launches war on America”

“The good news is voters in Virginia this week fired the first shot in the war to end the carnival of absurdity that has infected our politics over the past few years.

Enough of the racist poison. Stop abusing our children — no more lawlessness. End the assault on innocent, law-abiding citizens.

Indeed, “Parents Matter,” as Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin’s campaign insisted.

The sick, twisted, anti-American vitriol from washed-up hacks like Terry McAuliffe is losing its power, even in a deeply Democratic state like Virginia. In his petty non-concession speech late Tuesday night, Mr. McAuliffe looked like a cartoon version of The Joker with his crazy fake smile and wine-stained lips etched on his pale face.

The bad news — and it is truly terrifying — is that the Biden administration has three years left to destroy the country. Even if President Biden himself is impeached for high crimes against America, we are still left at this point with Vice President Kamala Harris.

And you cannot say you were not warned.

“We’ve been patient. But our patience is wearing thin,” Mr. Biden lectured America two months ago in one of the most extraordinary statements ever delivered by an elected president to the people he supposedly works for.

He tried to give you a choice. But you chose wrong.

Now, it will all be by force.

Mr. Biden ordered us to take our medication. But some of us refused. So, now he will force us all to take our medication.

Even with total Democratic control of the entire federal government, Mr. Biden cannot ram through his crazy agenda.

Soaring gas prices, inflation, bare shelves, the border invasion, arming America’s enemy in Afghanistan — it’s all reached pure, maximum insanity.

This is not stupid incompetence or doddering senility. This is a surgical and intentional assault on the American people.

As Mr. Biden slowly loses his political grip in elections like Virginia’s this week, he will turn to force. White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki — America’s Nurse Ratched — will hand out the pills at the window in tiny little paper cups in her neatly folded white cap.

“Now calm down,” you can hear her say in her unflappable, charmless tone. “The best thing we can do is go on with our daily routine —”

New rules issued Thursday by the Biden administration for public and private companies will require American workers to take their medication by Jan. 4. Any worker not vaccinated by Dec. 5 will be required to wear a mask on their face at all times announcing their unclean status.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is nuts. These people are pure evil. They hate America. They despise self-governance. And they want to destroy you.”

And to think people on the right actually agree with this idiocy and blatant power grab.

  11. Won’t matter to the Covid scolds….

“The end of the pandemic? Pfizer’s new COVID pill cuts hospitalizations and deaths by 90% in high-risk people”

    “Is this it?

I wrote yesterday that vaccine approval for kids aged five to 11 plus the bloodbath in blue states on Tuesday night has the expert class suddenly wondering if it’s time to declare the pandemic over. From a scientific standpoint, the nuclear weapon against infectious disease — vaccination — has now been almost fully deployed across the population. From a political standpoint, the association of Democrats with protracted oppressive COVID restrictions like school closings is killing the party at the polls.

Suddenly they’re looking for an exit. But they need a way to communicate to Americans, especially risk-averse lefties, that it’s now safe to return to normalcy. Or as safe as it’s going to be for the next few years as America adjusts to the reality of endemic COVID.

And so I repeat the question: Is this it?

The arrival of a fantastically effective therapeutic portends a new era in which COVID is rarely fatal for anyone, even people formerly at high risk of death due to underlying conditions. We already had good news on that front a few weeks ago when Merck announced that its new antiviral, molnupiravir, cut hospitalizations and deaths in high-risk people by 50 percent in trials. That wasn’t quite as effective as monoclonal antibodies but the antibody treatment is given via IV. It’s expensive and requires care from a professional. Molnupiravir is a pill and a course of treatment costs only a third of what the antibodies do. Eventually it could be available at every drug store in America, ready to be dispensed as soon as someone tests positive. Hospitalizations and deaths would plummet if everyone who needed it could get it.

Today’s news from Pfizer improves considerably on the good news from Merck. Their new antiviral pill, paxlovid, was 90 percent effective in trials against hospitalization for high-risk people, better than even monoclonal antibodies. Conceivably a cocktail of therapeutics that includes paxlovid could be more effective still. We’re on the cusp, it seems, of turning COVID’s death rate into something more akin to the flu’s.

So is this it? The end of the pandemic?

The work on Pfizer’s antiviral drug, called paxlovid, built off efforts by Pfizer scientists to develop treatments for the outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) nearly two decades ago. Paxlovid combines a new molecule designed by Pfizer scientists in July 2020 and ritonavir, an antiviral drug used to treat HIV.

In a clinical trial, participants at high risk of developing severe illness were given the drug regimen — a combination of three pills, taken twice a day — within three days of their covid-19 symptoms beginning. Half received the experimental drug and half received a placebo. Paxlovid was 89 percent effective in reducing risk of hospitalization and death. Among 389 people who received the drug, three hospitalizations and no deaths were reported. Among 385 people who got a placebo, 27 hospitalizations were reported, with seven subsequent deaths…

The drug also appeared to be effective even at five days after symptoms began. For about 600 people who received the drug within five days of symptoms, six people were hospitalized. Among the 600 who received a placebo, there were 41 hospitalizations and 10 subsequent deaths.

“We were hoping that we had something extraordinary, but it’s rare that you see great drugs come through with almost 90% efficacy and 100% protection for death,” said Pfizer’s chief scientific officer afterward. Let me emphasize again that these weren’t garden-variety healthy young COVID patients. The subjects were at high risk due to various comorbidities like obesity, diabetes, etc. And still — zero deaths among those who received paxlovid, even those who didn’t start treatment until five days after their first symptoms.”

  12. Biden is trash. You don’t leave people behind, and you don’t lie about the number for months when you do.

“State shocker: Did Biden abandon *14,000* Americans in Afghanistan?”

“Good Lord. Now we know why the State Department keeps playing coy with the number of legal permanent American residents (LPRs) Joe Biden left to the Taliban. While the White House and Foggy Bottom talked about a couple of hundred American citizens, they knew that the total number of Americans ranged as high as fourteen thousand, according to Foreign Policy and testimony in Congress:

The State Department believes as many as 14,000 U.S. legal permanent residents remain in Afghanistan, Foreign Policy has learned, as the agency faces increasing scrutiny from Congress about the status of U.S. citizens and green card holders that are still stranded in the Taliban-controlled country.

The finding, disclosed by a congressional aide familiar with the matter, has been transmitted by the State Department to aides on Capitol Hill in private, but officials demurred on revealing the figure when questioned by Republican lawmakers on Wednesday, insisting the agency doesn’t track the figure.

“Isn’t the operating assumption about 14,000?” Republican Rep. Chris Smith asked Brian McKeon, deputy secretary of state for management and resources, at a hearing on Wednesday, referring to the figure briefed in private.

“We don’t track [legal permanent residents],” McKeon responded. “It’s a good question why we don’t,” he added, suggesting the lack of clarity might be because the State Department does not require Americans and legal permanent residents traveling abroad to report their whereabouts.

It’s not just a “good question,” it’s a question that has been raised almost every day at the State Department briefings. Almost three months after Biden’s disgraceful bug-out of Afghanistan, the State Department should at least be able to answer the questions of “why we don’t” track LPRs.

This figure makes a lot more sense than the few hundred that State finally conceded last week by narrowing it to American citizens only. LPRs are Americans as well, able to travel on US passports as they wish and having the protection of the US when they do — theoretically these days, I guess. Before the collapse in Kabul, news reports estimated that the number of Americans left to get out after Biden initially pulled the military out of Afghanistan ran into five figures, only to have State come up with its bizarre count of “citizens” in the maelstrom of the Kabul extraction.

    Jim Geraghty is stunned:

    A good question?

If it isn’t the job of the U.S. State Department to keep track of legal permanent residents who are in a country under the control of a hostile force . . . whose job is it? …

Because it cannot be emphasized enough, President Biden told ABC News unequivocally on August 19 that the U.S. would not leave any Americans stranded in Afghanistan: “If there are American citizens left, we’re going to stay until we get them all out.”

Seventy-seven days later, there are still American citizens and U.S. green-card holders trapped in Afghanistan — including two dozen American schoolchildren: “San Juan Unified, which had at least 41 students trapped in Afghanistan in recent weeks, told The Sacramento Bee that some have since returned; others are on their way. Sixteen students have returned to Sacramento and 24 are still in Afghanistan, according to district officials.”

Here’s another good question: where are US national media outlets on this issue?”

You already know the answer. Because our trash media protects our trash Democrats.

  13. More lies and trash statistics….

When it comes to how to fudge the numbers, Obama taught him well.

“Something odd happened on the way to the October jobs report. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the US economy added 531,000 jobs last month, beating expectations and seemingly reversing a trend toward stagnation. However, BLS tacked on another 235,000 jobs in revisions to the previous two months, a strangely large revision that will have everyone across the political spectrum wondering what happened at BLS:

The change in total nonfarm payroll employment for August was revised up by 117,000, from +366,000 to +483,000, and the change for September was revised up by 118,000, from +194,000 to +312,000. With these revisions, employment in August and September combined is 235,000 higher than previously reported. (Monthly revisions result from additional reports received from businesses and government agencies since the last published estimates and from the recalculation of seasonal factors.)

Bear in mind that the Q3 GDP report showed stagnation as well (2.0% annualized growth, -0.1% final sales of domestic product), so those original numbers tended to fit within the parameters of economic reality. These new numbers aren’t a misfit either — hiring is a lagging indicator of economic growth, so it’s not necessarily unusual to see hiring continue even while growth begins to tail off, at least for a short period. Revisions are normal processes in BLS reports, but usually the numbers are much smaller than these and tend to even out.

Having two six-figure revisions in one direction in the same report is, um … notable. What “seasonal factors” induced this level of inaccuracy? The percentage of miss in August was 24%, and in September 38%. Those fall very far outside the range of normal statistical noise.

If I were in the White House, and perhaps especially on Terry McAuliffe’s campaign, I’d be complaining about BLS’ performance and blaming them for the political impact of these numbers. If I were in the opposition party, I’d wonder if BLS wasn’t tasked to “find” more jobs in the statistics. (I’m in the Hanlon’s Razor party these days, so I chalk it up to bureaucratic incompetence.)”

  17. Here’s an update on a story from a week ago or so. Keep in mind this type of fraud is happening in nursing homes and care facilities all over the US.

“Racine County Sheriff Calls For Felony Charges Against Wisconsin Election Commissioners”

“On Wednesday afternoon, the Racine County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release announcing it had forwarded to the county district attorney recommended charges for election fraud against five members of the Wisconsin Election Commission, including two felony counts. The announcement followed last week’s 75-minute press conference by Sheriff Christopher Schmaling and lead investigator Sgt. Michael Luell.

During that press conference, Luell provided a methodical review of the Wisconsin Election Code and his investigation into a complaint lodged by “Judy,” whose mother “Shirley” was a resident of the Ridgewood Care Facility.

After her mother died on October 9, 2020, Judy discovered a vote in the November 2020 presidential election had been cast in her mother’s name. In an affidavit originally filed with the Wisconsin Election Commission, Judy stated that she believed the residential care facility had taken “advantage” of her mother’s “diminished mental capacity and filled out ballot(s) in her name.”

While their investigation focused on Ridgewood Care Facility, during the press conference, Schmaling and Luell made clear that the fundamental violation of election law occurred when the Wisconsin Election Commission, or WEC, directed municipalities not to “use the Special Voting Deputy process to service residents in care facilities,” and instead to “transmit absentee ballots to those voters by mail.”

As Luell detailed in the October 28 press conference, Section 6.875 of the Wisconsin election code provides the “exclusive means” of absentee voting in residential care facilities, and that statute requires the local municipality to dispatch two special voting deputies, or “SVDs,” to a facility. The election code further requires the SVDs to personally deliver a ballot to residents of the facility, and then witness the voting process. And only a relative or an SVD may assist the voter in the process, and once voting is complete, the SVD must seal the ballot envelope and deliver it to the clerk.

By directing municipalities not to use SVD, as required by state law, Luell explained, the WEC appeared to violate Section 12.13(2)(b)(7) of the Wisconsin Election Code, entitled “Election Fraud.” That section expressly provides that it is a crime if, “in the course of the person’s official duties or on account of the person’s official position,” the official “intentionally violates or intentionally causes any other person to violate any provision” of the election code, “for which no other penalty is expressly prescribed.”

  18. From Facebook friend and author, Donn Taylor, who is around the age of Chas:
“On Thursday Sen. Cruz tweeted a proposal that he says is the “perfect solution”:

So @JoeBiden wants to give $450k to every illegal immigrant.

And Hunter Biden paintings “sell” for $500k each.

Perfect solution: give a Hunter Biden painting to every illegal immigrant.

    A Win-Win!”
