  1. Three weeks of sickness here is getting old but then again, it is how it used to be before Covid. I think many people stayed in and did not spread illness last year so we have forgotten what it is like.

  2. 🙂 Rain! Hallelujah!

    4 inches over the weekend?

    😦 Vacation canceled!

We were headed to the Promised Land–Idaho–and a visit with our niece’s family for the first time in 5 years. Too much of a chance with snow.

🙂 Daughter gets a job and is moving back!

We’re headed south, instead, to pack. #BeenthereDonethat

Meanwhile, the perfect weekend cocooned at home while the rain comes a tumbling down.

  3. 🙂 Rain, yes! We won’t get nearly as much as our northern neighbors. But we may get as much as a whole inch on Monday. For us (sadly during what seems to be an endless drought), that’s a lot.

  4. I see where Idaho is the top destination now. Not surprising but not delighted either. Boise is the fifth for metro areas, so they are not all moving there. A lot move to Kamiah. There is nothing there for old people who are used to amenities, like medical care and golf and eating out. A lot of them go back to California for that stuff. But a few actually make the adjustment and like it.

  5. I need to go order some ibuprofen. I like to keep a bottle in my box at school for teachers and employees to use. The employees especially. So this morning God gave me the idea to order them from Costco and have them sent to our vice principal who is on furlough. She said yes!! and will bring back a bunch. Our price here is 7 cents a pill. The ones I am ordering are a penny a pill, so I will order 6000.
So delighted that I can bless others even after I am gone.
    Now to go order.

  6. Costco will also deliver— so I had them send a bunch of diapers to the local crisis pregnancy center rather than pick them up myself to drop off.

    Score for all!
