  1. From Sen. Johnson….

“Questioning the science of COVID-19 vaccine mandates

Mandates are exacerbating social divisions and will only increase pandemic harms”

“The COVID-19 pandemic has been the most disruptive and costly global event since World War II. The human toll and economic devastation are incalculable. The extent of the damage will not be fully felt or known for years. Much of the human toll and cost was self-inflicted and avoidable. The loss of freedom has been breathtaking, with too many accepting this loss without question and little resistance.

Those who have asked questions have been vilified, scorned, suppressed, and censored. There is so much about how governments and societies have responded to the pandemic that simply makes no sense, so legitimate questions and public skepticism continue to grow.

The advent of vaccine mandates is exacerbating social divisions and will only increase the pandemic harms. We are relentlessly told by the COVID-19 gods — federal agencies, mainstream media, and social media — that they alone represent science, and any other interpretation of data or opinion is labeled dangerous misinformation. This attitude contradicts what we’ve generally been told regarding any serious medical diagnosis: “Always try to get a second or even third opinion.” Such advice makes sense because every human body is different and reacts differently to medical treatments and drugs, and no one doctor has perfect information.

Well before President Joe Biden’s ill-advised and divisive vaccine mandate announcement, I had been hearing from doctors, nurses, first responders, college students, and others facing the life-altering decision of having to choose between losing their job or enrollment or being coerced into taking a vaccine they do not want. Many of these individuals have already been infected and recovered from COVID-19 and have natural immunity, which, unfortunately, is not being recognized in lieu of a vaccine.

The situation faced by health care professionals is particularly troubling. Doctors, nurses, and other health care workers who had the courage and compassion to expose themselves to infection by treating COVID-19 patients throughout the pandemic are heroes who should be appreciated and respected, not scorned and terminated. Many contracted COVID-19. Some tragically died; most survived.

Many who survived have witnessed and, in some cases, have also been treating patients with vaccine injuries. Unlike the NIH, CDC, and FDA, their personal experiences have made it impossible for them to ignore the reality that Covid vaccines are not 100% safe or that adverse events are minor and rare. To paraphrase Green Bay Packer offensive lineman Ken Ruettgers, whose wife suffers a neurological vaccine injury, “Vaccine injuries are rare and mild until one happens to you.”

The ethical standard that no one should be pressured, coerced, or fear reprisal for deciding against any medical treatment has been in place now for 75 years. It is a standard of freedom that has withstood the test of time and should not be ignored and violated.

COVID-19 vaccine mandates violate that standard without any significant benefit. Data shows that COVID-19 vaccines reduce the severity of symptoms and the chance of death but do not prevent infection or transmission. Since both the vaccinated and unvaccinated can transmit COVID-19, what is the rationale for discriminating against the unvaccinated and imposing such a freedom-robbing mandate?

Medical necessity is also being ignored. By definition, unnecessary medical treatments provide no benefit and only risk harm. For the young, healthy, or previously infected with natural immunity, the risk of serious harm from COVID-19 is low, and it may be entirely rational for them to decide not to expose themselves to possible vaccine injury. Others may disagree with such a decision, but it’s not their body. They have no right to question someone else’s health autonomy.

Significant practical problems exist. We are already suffering severe worker shortages throughout our economy, especially in health care. Vaccine mandates will increase these shortages, leading to disastrous consequences. There have already been reports on how mandates could weaken military readiness. I have been inundated with testimonials from health care professionals that paint a dire picture of current shortages and an even more dire future if mandates are enforced. “

  2. This Senator’s not wrong either…

“Sen. Tom Cotton: Democrats’ Criminal-Leniency Policies Sparked an Undeniable Crime Wave”

“The numbers are in, and the debate is over. Our nation is in the midst of one of the worst crime waves in American history.

New nationwide data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation reveals that last year the number of murders rose by 29 percent, drug overdose deaths increased 30 percent, and the number of gang-related killings skyrocketed more than 55 percent. To put this carnage into context, a 29 percent increase in murder isn’t simply bad, it’s the worst single-year increase in American history. Similarly, the drugs flooding into our communities aren’t only deadly, they are the deadliest drugs ever sold. For the first time ever, over 100,000 Americans lost their lives to drugs and homicide in 2020.

The number of assaults rose by 12 percent last year and criminal assailants committed nearly 75,000 more violent crimes than they committed in 2019. Although the total number of property crimes fell, the total cost of those crimes rose by nearly $2 billion. Recorded cases of arson also rose by nearly 35 percent, a trend that is likely associated with last summer’s BLM riots, which were the most destructive in American history.

In Democrat-dominated cities, violent crime rose far more than the national average. Last year, murder rose 50 percent in Chicago, 44 percent in New York, and 38 percent in Los Angeles. The murder rate in Baltimore was higher than El Salvador’s or Guatemala’s — nations from which citizens can claim asylum purely based on gang violence and murder.

Initial estimates also reveal evidence of a shrinking American police presence. Even though the FBI gathered data from over 100 additional law-enforcement agencies than it did in 2019, it estimated 1,000 fewer police officers. This isn’t surprising; 86 percent of police chiefs report being short-staffed. Between April 2020 and April 2021, the rate of hiring in mid-sized departments dropped 29 percent and plummeted 36 percent in large departments. Equally concerning, initial data shows that the number of police killed by criminals has increased 46 percent compared to this time last year.

For months, the media has tried to deny and downplay this disaster because they know Democrat mayors, progressive prosecutors, and liberal governors are to blame.

Last spring, Democrats led the charge in releasing 200,000 state and local prisoners under the guise of “coronavirus protocols”—including 18 percent of felons held in state jails. During the summer, they embraced the cause of anti-police rioters and allowed crime to envelope American cities. Progressive prosecutors in many cases refused to charge looters and further curtailed the types of misdemeanor offenses that they were willing to charge. During the Fall and Winter, mayors and governors waged a relentless campaign to defund, disarm, and defame police officers, which predictably resulted in a massive surge in police retirements.

After trying to cover up last year’s shocking rise in violent crime, the liberal media is now trying to spin this year’s increase in crime. The New York Times headline announcing the worst increase in murder in American history read: “Murder Rose by Almost 30% in 2020. It’s Rising at a Slower Rate in 2021.” This transparent attempt to add a positive spin to a worsening situation insults the intelligence of the American people. Of course, murder is rising at a slower rate after the largest increase in history, it would be nearly impossible to rise faster. The fact that it is remaining at stratospheric levels is what warrants alarm.”

Go to the link, compare the pics of what these rioters did and compare it to the pics from Jan6. But these criminals walked free, yet the paraders are being crucified.

That’s partisan, unfair enforcement of the law, and total BS.

  5. Well if you were one of the people who thought Joe would be a moderate, you should slap yourself. Never was, never will be.

“Radical Joe Biden Officially Rejects Moderate Stance That Got Him Elected

Biden wants these bills tied together, always has, and clearly showed that in his humiliation of the Biden Republicans who thought they were strutting a “bipartisan” victory only to learn they were played. And hard.”

“So far this year, Democrats have passed trillions in spending: $1.52 trillion in discretionary spending and $1.9 trillion for their American Rescue Plan. That’s not enough, though. In fact, they were just getting started.

In spite of rampant inflation, global shortages due in part to supply chain disruptions, and general economic uncertainty created by onerous government lockdowns during the WuFlu pandemic and Biden wiping out American energy independence (along with other economy-boosting measures taken by President Trump), they have been trying to wrangle Democrat progressives and the moderates in both the House and the Senate to pass another $1.1 trillion in infrastructure and another $3.5 trillion in “human infrastructure” spending. Along with all the taxes and accompanying strains on an already fragile economy.

For those keeping track at home, that’s a whopping $8 trillion plus in new spending at a time when unemployment is high, prices on everything are biting the middle and lower classes, and uncertainty looms about the future of small businesses harmed by year-long lockdowns.

So far, the battle to impoverish America has ended in a stalemate with Democrat radicals and moderates firmly entrenched and each side demanding the unacceptable of the other. One of the things that has been at issue throughout all of this is whether or not the infrastructure bill should be tied to the gigantic reconciliation bill (the “human infrastructure” bill that attempts to remake our entire nation).

On Friday, Joe “I am the Democratic Party” Biden doddered over to the House to meet with the Democrat caucus in a purported attempt to unify his fractured party over their ongoing intraparty struggles.

What he ended up doing, and what the White House staff are reportedly doing “behind the scenes,” is doubling down on his support for the Bernie Sanders-written $3.5 trillion socialist wishlist boondoggle to remake America. And America-hating progressives are reportedly ‘exalting’ in their Biden-fueled “newfound power.”

Meanwhile, Pelosi is caught off-guard and nonplussed since she has been promising her moderate caucus that she will decouple the bills and hold votes on the already-Senate-passed infrastructure bill. Biden shot that down, siding with obstructionist progressives and effectively stabbing Pelosi in the back and hampering her ability to work with the moderate faction of her party.

This should come as no surprise to anyone, however. Remember when Biden got far too many naive, greedy, power-hungry, self-involved, and politically unsavvy Republicans to buy-in to the (not really) infrastructure bill? Remember when they were all assembled at the White House to trumpet their bipartisan success? Remember when Biden pulled the rug out from under them all, in public and on national television, by declaring that this bipartisan bill was tied to the Bernie boondoggle? Implying rather strongly that these Republicans supported both?

These insipid Biden Republicans were all there, happy to support an “infrastructure” bill that has very little to do with actual infrastructure, and then were blind-sided when Biden declared that the bill was DOA without the Bernie boondoggle.

The Biden Republicans, of course, just stood there like the court jesters Biden made them sans the fools caps and oranges for juggling. They outraged—politely, of course—and the Biden admin dutifully lied to them and to the American people. Given fake cover by a fake administration, the Biden Republicans declared victory. It was a shameful spectacle.”

These Republican 🤡🤡🤡🤡 are all the usual suspects, the NTer faction. The Dems useful idiots.

  6. More of Fauci’s lies exposed.

“Anthony Fauci’s NIAID funded institute that trained researchers at Wuhan lab that housed fatal aerosol-borne viruses, reveals leaked email

Bearing the subject line ‘China BSL4 labs’, the email written by James LeDuc reminded Dr. Anthony Fauci about their earlier correspondence regarding collaboration with the Wuhan lab’s Biosafety level four (BSL4) facilities.”

“A new leaked email conversation between Dr. Anthony Fauci and James LeDuc showed that the US National Institutes of Health funded an institute that trained researchers at the Wuhan lab’s biosafety level four facility, reported The National Pulse. While Fauci is the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), LeDuc is the Director of Galveston National Laboratory (GNL) funded by NIAID.

The relationship between Galveston National Laboratory and the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) is established through a 2017 email conversation between Dr. Anthony Fauci and James LeDuc. The email showed how GNL, funded by NIAID, was directly involved in training Chinese scientists at the Biosafety level four (BSL4) facilities. Importantly, these facilities deal with viruses that are spread through aerosols/can cause deadly diseases in human beings.

Bearing the subject line ‘China BSL4 labs’, the email written by James LeDuc reminded Dr. Anthony Fauci about their earlier correspondence regarding collaboration with the Wuhan lab’s Biosafety level four (BSL4) facilities. He had highlighted how the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (Harbin BSL4), Directors of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Wuhan BSL4), and the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (Kunming BSL4), had agreed to visit the Galveston National Laboratory. LeDuc also mentioned the importance of ‘building collaborations’ and opportunities to meet ‘important leaders of China.’

Email correspondence between Dr Fauci and GNL Director

The email read, “In follow up to our brief discussions at the UT meeting regarding collaborations with the new Chinese BSL4 labs, the US National Academy of Sciences will be hosting a meeting here at the GNL Tuesday, 16 Jan to Thursday, 18 Jan 2018 with counterparts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Wuhan BSL4), the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (Kunming BSL4), and the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (Harbin BSL4). Each of these labs has been constructed and they are about to begin operations.””

“It further read, “The directors of each of these 3 new labs has agreed to come to Galveston, as has George Gao (if his schedule permits) and about 6-8 other accomplished Chinese scientists. The meeting will focus on a balance of science and operations with the goal of building collaborations and ensuring that the new labs are exposed to US best practices in safety and security. I’m wondering if you would be interested in joining us.”

“This is not a “command performance” so no pressure is intended, but it would be a good opportunity for you to meet and interact on a personal and informal basis with these important leaders of China. We expect about 10-12 senior Chinese and a comparable number of senior US scientists from outside UTMB, plus several UTMB folks. I will be hosting a dinner at our home on Tuesday evening to facilitate informal discussions. Let me know if you’re interested and we can work to accommodate your schedule—again, no pressure. Happy to chat if you like,” read the concluding paragraph of the email.”

  14. Chinese violation of Taiwan airspace has nothing to do with Biden, esp since this has occurred of and on from the last 50 years including during the Trump admin.. Its more likely China’s actions are for domestic consumption. China’s is in the middle of a real estate bubble crisis which is leading to some domestic pressure on Xi. Although Xi has consolidated power in the last decade, covid and now the Evergrande real estate has open up an avenue for his domestic critics, And as Clinton, Bush, Reagan etc all well know a little foreign scare mongering might divert the masses.

  15. My comment on vaccine mandates seems to have disappeared.

I’m not a big fan of the gov’t telling people what to do with their bodies and I’m not a big fan of corporations telling employees what to do with their bodies. However, vaccines work best when almost everyone is on board. It seems simple enough to say vaccination is a personal choice but their choice affects others. The unvaxxed take up health care resources that could be used for others. In Ontario, lock downs are determined not by covid cases but by the strain on ICUs. Since its almost only unvaxxed in ICU, their choice is taking away health care resources from others. I do enjoy the irony of right wing politicians complaining about corporate vaccine mandates despite their ideology and party being responsible for giving corporations this power.

Corporate mandates are for the most part driven by insurance companies and increased premiums. If you want to decrease the influence of insurance companies on health care choices, I have a alternative health care system for you.

  16. Good. 🙂

“Zuckerberg Loses $6 Billion in Hours as Facebook Plunges”

“Mark Zuckerberg’s personal wealth has fallen by more than $6 billion in a few hours, knocking him down a notch on the list of the world’s richest people, after a whistleblower came forward and outages took Facebook Inc.’s flagship products offline.

A selloff sent the social-media giant’s stock plummeting 4.9% on Monday, adding to a drop of about 15% since mid-September.

The stock slide on Monday sent Zuckerberg’s worth down to $121.6 billion, dropping him below Bill Gates to No. 5 on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. He’s down from almost $140 billion in a matter of weeks, according to the index.

On Sept. 13, the Wall Street Journal began publishing a series of stories based on a cache of internal documents, revealing that Facebook knew about a wide range of problems with its products — such as Instagram’s harm to teenage girls’ mental health and misinformation about the Jan. 6 Capitol riots — while downplaying the issues in public. The reports have drawn the attention of government officials, and on Monday, the whistleblower revealed herself.”
