Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 32
Of David.
1 Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.
2 Blessed is the one
whose sin the Lord does not count against them
and in whose spirit is no deceit.
3 When I kept silent,
my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long.
4 For day and night
your hand was heavy on me;
my strength was sapped
as in the heat of summer.
5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess
my transgressions to the Lord.”
And you forgave
the guilt of my sin.
6 Therefore let all the faithful pray to you
while you may be found;
surely the rising of the mighty waters
will not reach them.
7 You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance.
8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
9 Do not be like the horse or the mule,
which have no understanding
but must be controlled by bit and bridle
or they will not come to you.
10 Many are the woes of the wicked,
but the Lord’s unfailing love
surrounds the one who trusts in him.
11 Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous;
sing, all you who are upright in heart!
Praying for Debra and C today as they continue their journey and make their adjustments.

Please continue to pray for Nightingale to meet God on her camping-and-hiking trip. I think she has finished her hike up and down Mt. Washington by now, as at 11:40 this morning she texted me that she was half-way up. She said the view is amazing, and she felt like belting out “The hills are alive – with the sound of music!” 🙂 Also, please pray for her safety in all that she is doing, including her driving home on Monday.
Boy is at his other grandparents’ house for the rest of today and tonight, and will be home around 2:00 tomorrow afternoon.
Chickadee has not replied to my invitation to spend some time just the two of us. That doesn’t surprise me, but it still disappoints me (to say the least). Please pray for her, too.

Prayer concern for an old family friend couple from when we first moved to the area.
They have lost two boys to Covid in the past week. One lived in Washington and one in Puerto Rico, where he has been caring for his wife with alzheimers for the past several years. She had lost the ability to recognize him so does not know he is gone. Family is caring for her.
A third son of theirs also had pneumonia and was in hospital when it became septic in his bloodstream. He is now discharged and staying with a sister in Boise.
Also, the husband of the older couple got the virus a couple of days ago but got immediate treatment and looks like he may make it.
And wisdom for us on how to help in this incredibly difficult time.
So much sorrow.

Yes, such sorrowful days. Lamentations all around. Proddings for prayer never ceasing. Trying to balance out the litany of prayers with keeping my mind stayed on Him for that perfect peace. How much the number of bowls of collected prayers have increased in heaven during these last two years.

Nightingale got home about an hour and a half ago, and we had been talking since then. She had a wonderful time. Thank you for your prayers.
