Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 19
A psalm of David.
1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm,
and all of them are righteous.
10 They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the honeycomb.
11 By them your servant is warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.
12 But who can discern their own errors?
Forgive my hidden faults.
13 Keep your servant also from willful sins;
may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.
14 May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Leaving directions after memorial service lunch, trying to outrun the storm.
My husband has a planned business trip in Rochester, NY, so please pray we make it safely tonight.
We anticipate plenty of traffic, in good weather it’s 6 hours. Both of us have made this drive before—though in my case it was literally half my life ago!

Thanking God for the smidgen of rain we finally got. Praying for more. Meanwhile one of our daughter’s counties issued flooding warnings recommending some to evacuate.

I am immensely grateful.
I am sitting here at my computer, watching on TV while multitudes of people are risking everything to get where I am.

Here in Connecticut, Hurricane Henri is scheduled to arrive sometime tomorrow. It will mostly affect the south half of the state, but here in the north of the state, we will have a tropical storm, which is bad enough. Please pray that we don’t lose power, at least not for too long, and that the intensity of the storm will lessen before it hits land. Thank you.

The latest update is that my county is now in the red zone, where the heaviest winds are expected. 😦

Prayers for God’s protection over the traveling Wanderers and the ones sheltering in place for the stormy times. ♡ And prayers for rain for the areas needing that blessing.

Again praying that we will not lose power, and that for those who may (and if we do), it will be restored quickly. The weatherman this morning says that we will have temps up to or in the 90s with “wicked humidity” coming on Tuesday and Wednesday. 😦
So far it is just getting windy and rainy. The worst of it is expected this afternoon. No church this morning.
Henri has been downgraded to a tropical storm, but that is still a serious matter with very strong winds. Also, we are expecting more rain today than we usually get in a month. Wish I could send it to those who need it.

Prayer here as I have not been as proactive as I should and my blood pressure has gone back up beyond okay. Thanks.
