Prayer Requests 7-5-21

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 126

A song of ascents.

When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,
we were like those who dreamed.
Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.

Restore our fortunes, Lord,
    like streams in the Negev.
Those who sow with tears
will reap with songs of joy.
Those who go out weeping,
    carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
    carrying sheaves with them.

  1. Praying for A and S, parents of the two month old, and their grandparents. as they all adjust to the new normal without little Abigail. Peace, trust, joy. No guilt about what could have been.

Praying for Debra and C as they continue the long slow journey.

  2. Chas, A and S are the parents of the two month old, Abigail, who died a couple of nights ago, while visiting her grandparents for the first time (my pastor and wife) with her mommy and three siblings.

Debra and C are working through the rehab of C who had a serious touch and go time with covid. Debra is one of our regulars from back your way.

  3. Definitely, Janice!

Cyrus is still in the hospital rehabing. He’s completely off the vent (a true miracle!) and this weekend they capped the tracheostomy. That means they closed it off temporarily and if he does well for a couple of days they’ll take it out permanently –including the breathing tube in his lungs!

We’re hoping to go home 7/13 if all goes well. They still want him to go to a physical rehab hospital but we think not. He can do physical rehab at home.

Thank you all for continuing to hold us up in prayer. We’re hoping we’re through the worst of it.

    Still Trusting Him
    Debra
