Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 126
A song of ascents.
1 When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,
we were like those who dreamed.
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
3 The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.
4 Restore our fortunes, Lord,
like streams in the Negev.
5 Those who sow with tears
will reap with songs of joy.
6 Those who go out weeping,
carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
carrying sheaves with them.
My heart is breaking for these children. The grandparents found the oldest son out at the end of the runway waiting because he knew something had gone wrong – his parents should have gotten home before them. I am so thankful they loved Jesus.

Your post brought tears, Kare. Prayers continuing.
Please lift up my friend having shoulder replacement surgery today. Thank you.

So good to know they are solid in the faith, but remind us to pray for those children. They will need it. And we, in our frail humanity, will forget. God doesn’t.

Prayer for husband and grandson as they head to Boise for another appt. This would be the swallow test to see if he can swallow well enough to not need a feeding tube.

The V couple both have COVID. Mr. V feeling okay, Mrs. V sagging. Father is “actually doing pretty well. He almost seems chipper.”
Mrs. V only sees him from the doorway when she brings food, wearing a mask.
Speaking of food, they laughed at all the kind people dropping off dishes (we’re Lutherans), have actually created a problem. They had to get ice for their ice chest to store some of it; there’s no room left in the refrigerator!
Mrs. V only wanted to discuss books when I called last night to check on them. Her mind is still intact, even if her body is sagging.

My daughter’s MIL, Karen, now has pneumonia. She had Covid and is struggling to get her stamina back. She tested again for Covid, since she has to test negative before her husband can go back to work. He had Covid first, but has been well for awhile.
