It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for Jo, her former students, and the people of PNG.
Anyone else?
Psalm 119:113-128
ס Samekh
113 I hate double-minded people,
but I love your law.
114 You are my refuge and my shield;
I have put my hope in your word.
115 Away from me, you evildoers,
that I may keep the commands of my God!
116 Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live;
do not let my hopes be dashed.
117 Uphold me, and I will be delivered;
I will always have regard for your decrees.
118 You reject all who stray from your decrees,
for their delusions come to nothing.
119 All the wicked of the earth you discard like dross;
therefore I love your statutes.
120 My flesh trembles in fear of you;
I stand in awe of your laws.
ע Ayin
121 I have done what is righteous and just;
do not leave me to my oppressors.
122 Ensure your servant’s well-being;
do not let the arrogant oppress me.
123 My eyes fail, looking for your salvation,
looking for your righteous promise.
124 Deal with your servant according to your love
and teach me your decrees.
125 I am your servant; give me discernment
that I may understand your statutes.
126 It is time for you to act, Lord;
your law is being broken.
127 Because I love your commands
more than gold, more than pure gold,
128 and because I consider all your precepts right,
I hate every wrong path.
Praying all is well for Kizzie and her family and the others here affected by the storm.

Praising God that Jo gets to return to PNG!!!!
Praising God for His good plans which He is working out!!!!
I have not heard more about my Bible study leader. I am still lifting her up for healing and recovery. So thankful we still got to have our group time and God provided a teacher at the last minute.

Frantz’ aunt reports he came through spinal surgery well. I don’t know what that means, but I’m praying for healing of that spinal cord, millimeter by millimeter. 🙂

I have a Zoom prayer time later this morning with a young woman who is asking for counsel.
Please pray I’m a conduit of the Holy Spirit, listening to Him and not my own opinion before I speak.
Thanks.

Urgent prayer needed. I have to meet with management and union this afternoon. Let’s just say I am very close to quitting.

Praying for the safety of grandson. Son in law has been letting the babysitter take him to her house at night, where she lives with her family, so she would not have to get up at four to go over. Daughter found out and has taken grandson. She survives on very little sleep, working a lot of hours and not sleeping when off. Maybe two hours a day. She is supposed to be sleeping now and will need to take him to physical therapy this afternoon and works this evening. She fired the babysitter. Poor little guy. He is supposed to come here tomorrow when son in law is off work.

Mike is headed down to pick up grandson and will head back today. We believe grandson is currently safe with daughter as she said she trusts us with his care and will meet dad in Boise. Pray.

Chloe has been throwing up since Friday. We saw the gastroenterologist today. She is down 102 pounds. The doctor thinks more is going on than what we have been told for the last 3.5 years. She is getting fluids now. She is severely dehydrated. Next we go for a Covid test and labs then tomorrow have to be at the hospital for upper GI and some other tests.
The doctor wanted to put her in the hospital but I wasn’t going to be allowed to stay with her so he begged to come home. She’s back to calling me mommy right now.
Please pray we can get
To the bottom of this.

So, they are, despite my health concerns for which they had given me accommodations while on call, forcing me to make home visits during my regular shifts, because they are so short staffed (basically, nurses have resigned en masse). I am terrified, because I have never done regular home visits, so I know nothing about planning, etc. They never even gave me orientation for this. It starts tomorrow. My car is not in good shape. I nearly resigned, but Second in-law is without regular work again, so I felt that I couldn’t do that to my family. I am just so scared.

So many truly difficult situations right at Christmas!
From what I heard our Bible study leader is feeling better and being released from the hospital. I have heard nothing on all her test results. I assume she is waiting on results.
Lord, You see the situations with the grandbaby, Roscuro, and BG. They are all so different from each other but in each case the need for Your divine protection is requested. Please keep them safe in the sense of how Your word uses the beautiful thought rephrased from Psalm 17:8, as the apples of Your eye, and hidden under the shadow of Your wings. Lord, You have a myriad of ways to protect. I lift up each of these for the best that You can provide in Your miraculous timing and ways. Trusting in You and Your Divine Providence when the children of Your creation cry out in times of trouble. In Jesus’ name, Amen

My friend Shirley was having a biopsy today, this according to her brother. I’ve tried calling her a few times in the past couple days but the phone in her room goes unanswered and I’m afraid the calls are just disturbing her.
Her brother says she’s been feeling “agitated,” which is understandable.

Well we got the vomiting stopped. Little Miss and Papa are in one room and BG, Amos, and I are in the other. Like we used to be. Amos is liking having his Girl. George stopped by to drop off prescriptions so Amos got some additional love. The side effects of one of the drugs can cause uncontrollable facial movements but today it was our only choice. It won’t be long term.
The doctor was so sweet. He got “twittapated” when BG started crying.

Roscuro, may God give you peace and the ability to do what you need to do. An perhaps am opening for a situation that would work better for you or more people to work where you’re working!
