Prayer Requests 11-28-20

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 110

Of David. A psalm.

The Lord says to my lord:

“Sit at my right hand
    until I make your enemies
    a footstool for your feet.”

The Lord will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of your enemies!”
Your troops will be willing
    on your day of battle.
   Arrayed in holy splendor,
your young men will come to you
like dew from the morning’s womb.

The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind:
   “You are a priest forever,
    in the order of Melchizedek.”

The Lord is at your right hand;
he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.
He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead
and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.
He will drink from a brook along the way,
and so he will lift his head high.

  1. Thank you for the prayers. The situation will not be resolved in a short time, but I have peace that I am doing what is right. The service for my mom will be postponed until my brother and his wife can come from the Philippines. That will be when they can be vaccinated. There will be lots of bumps a long the way before that, but God knows and holds me. How grateful I am!

  2. Blessing for you, Kathaleena, and all your family as you navigate this situation with God as your guide. Everything is extra complicated these days. So thankful that you can trust fully in God to get you through the difficult days and nights.

  3. Something that’s near the top of our church’s email prayer list every week:

    * Pray for our country and our churches, that we would have wisdom and godliness in the issues causing division in our society

  4. In the curious world of Facebook, Franz’ parents are good friends of another friend of mine. He’s in bad shape. His Catholic mother is pleading with us to pray for a miracle. They haven’t worked on the pelvis yet, his lungs have limited capacity, he’s in a deliberate coma, and they really don’t know if he will survive. I’ve got tears in my eyes after reading about this handsome 20-something.
