“Actor Scott Baio threatens to move to Utah to unseat Sen. Mitt Romney after his anti-Trump tweet

“Maybe I’ll move there… and unseat you.”

“Actor Scott Baio threatened to move to Utah in order to run against Republican Sen. Mitt Romney after he tweeted against the litigation the president was supporting to challenge the results of the 2020 election.

Romney tweeted a statement scolding the president after his legal team made accusations of a massive election fraud scheme in a media briefing on Thursday.

“Having failed to make even a plausible case of widespread fraud or conspiracy before any court of law, the President has now resorted to overt pressure on state and local officials to subvert the will of the people and overturn the election,” tweeted Romney.

“It is difficult to imagine a worse, more undemocratic action by a sitting American President,” he added.”

Mittens is lying again of course, that’s what traitors do. Trump is following the process in place. Perhaps Mittens should read up and fix that ignorance problem he has.

  5. Those crying about it now have apparently “forgotten” how it went 4 years ago.

“No, Trump Did Not Get An ‘Orderly Transition'”

“Let’s start our refutation by showing that Trump was already a target of the DOJ before he was even elected. This is not up for debate or discussion. It is a statement of fact. Trump’s election, transition, and subsequent administrative action has been under constant, unrelenting attack from the left. There has not been a single moment of Trump’s Presidency that he has ever been given the benefit of the doubt, a hand-up, or so much as a Kudos from the media or Democrats.

Sure, there was an “orderly transition” while the Obama’s played “gracious hosts” to then-President-Elect Trump, welcoming Trump with open arms in public, while sharpening their knives in private. We know that Obama had been briefed on the DOJ’s and Intelligence Community’s action in investigating Trump. We know that Clapper, Brennan, Strozk, Page, and others knew about the investigation, often bypassing law and standard operating procedures to establish their “case.” They abused their power, unlawfully filed for warrants, glossed over questionable and unreliable sources, and even resorted to lying about the contents of interviews before Trump ever took office. They pushed a narrative to the media that they (as has since been revealed) already knew wasn’t true. They made accusation after accusation of misconduct and illegal behavior absent any proof. They demanded further investigation and testimony into their unfounded accusations and called any lack of cooperation, stonewalling, and the actions of the guilty.

This offensive lasted from before Trump’s election, literally through the current election, and now the left wants to demand an “orderly transition” of power to a President whom they have questioned the legitimacy of, for no less than 4 years? Excuse me, but no. If the very worst that Trump does is delay during legal challenges and recounts (which mind you, could determine that Trump is still President) then he still will be exponentially better than the left.

This “rules for thee but not for me” form of messaging from the media and the political left is nothing more than gaslighting. We dealt with “scandal” after “scandal” for four years, all of which were made absent evidence, corroborating witnesses, or any of the other means of proof of their case, and NOW they want us to revert to the days of old. Sorry, but no. You don’t get to pretend like recent history didn’t occur to demand a level of treatment above which you provided during that history. It is not only insulting but also condescending. Forgive me, but you’ll have to peddle this garbage to someone else.”

So take your calls for unity and stuff ’em.

“Dutch Doctors Can Now Drug Dementia Patients Before Killing Them to Prevent Resistance”

“A few years ago, Dutch doctor Marinou Arends attended to her dementia patient in a nursing home. Arends wasn’t there to treat her, but to kill her via lethal injection.

To make it easier, Arends drugged her patient’s coffee, a violation of euthanasia rules. But in the midst of the termination, the patient woke up, saw what was happening, and began to struggle. The doctor instructed the family to hold the resisting patient down while she finished her off.

That would seem to be murder and a criminal prosecution was mounted. But this is Euthanasia Land. The Dutch Supreme Court later lauded the doctor for her good intentions and dismissed all criminal complaints.

Now, the Dutch have reacted to the case to create specific rules governing the euthanasia of dementia patients. Of course they now allow drugging to prevent resistance! From the Guardian story:

Doctors euthanising a patient with severe dementia may slip a sedative into their food or drink if there are concerns they will become “disturbed, agitated or aggressive”, under a change to the codes of practice in the Netherlands.

Another factor of the Arends story is worth noting. The patient had asked for euthanasia when she became incompetent, but she wanted to decide when. She never did. So, the rules were changed to govern that circumstance too:

The new code says that in cases where a patient has advanced dementia, “it is not necessary for the doctor to agree with the patient the time or manner in which euthanasia will be given”.

  7. “Propaganda, Election Fraud and the Death of Journalism”

“Easy question: Is it illegal to steal an election or not?

You would have to assume that it is no big deal based on the response to claims of widespread fraud in the contest between President Trump and Joe Biden. Big Media says the evidence just doesn’t exist, and most Americans seem to be lost in a blue haze of blind acceptance that whatever they are told by the talking heads on TV must be true.

This kind of unthinking obedience to authority is a frightening harbinger of an America that is no longer a nation of laws, but rather a nation of edicts. You can already see that unfolding in the sheep-like acceptance of COVID-19 restrictions that blatantly ignore the Constitution. But if you dare do your own independent assessment of facts — whether regarding the efficacy of mask use in preventing spread of coronavirus or regarding the security of electronic voting — you will quickly come to a different conclusion than that which is approved by Big Tech, Big Media and Big Money.

Unfortunately, most people don’t take the time to do their own research. They simply believe whatever is told to them. For those in thrall to the establishment media, that means they believe that Trump’s allegations of election fraud are “baseless.” Remember, the media made that declaration within hours of the election, long before any evidence had been presented in a court of law and before analysis had begun on the raw vote totals. Once that narrative was established, it didn’t matter how many affidavits were presented, how many witnesses came forward, or how much analysis suggested that the vote count may have been manipulated. The jury of the American people had already been tainted by Big Media to believe the narrative that Trump is a sore loser.

Don’t forget, the mainstream media — in the interests of public enlightenment (now known as wokeness) — have spent the past four years reporting as fact that the duly elected president of the United States is a liar, a tax cheat, a Russian puppet, and a racist. In other words, he is a con man who never should have been anywhere near the Oval Office in the first place. So why would anyone now believe his claims that Democrats used phony mail ballots, vote-counting software and foreign manipulation to steal the election? Most of the media is pretending that there is not even a real story to report in what, if true, would be one of the gravest constitutional crises in the history of our republic.

As Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani said in his press conference Thursday, “The coverage of this has been almost as dishonest as the scheme itself. The American people are entitled to know this,” he warned the press. “You don’t have a right to keep it from them. You don’t have a right to lie about it.”

But, the newsrooms at CNN and MSNBC are keeping it from the public. They refused to even carry Giuliani’s press conference laying out the evidence of election fraud. As for Fox News, they covered it, and then put a reporter on the air to say the claims were “simply not true” or “baseless.” Clearly, we are not going to get the truth from the media. Has there been even one reporter for a mainstream outlet such as the Washington Post asking questions about the vulnerability of electronic voting systems to hacking or manipulation? Is any news organization demanding that the Justice Department or FBI get to the bottom of the story?

The loss of a free and neutral press means that democracy cannot work even if its elections were completely above board. The capacity of the people to self-govern is dependent on their access to true and accurate information. Sadly, the opposite principle applies as well. When journalism abandons objectivity in favor of an agenda, then the people are in the position of cattle being led to slaughter.

Thomas Jefferson described the abuses of a free press in 1814 in a letter to his friend Walter Jones:

“I deplore … the putrid state into which our newspapers have passed and the malignity, the vulgarity and the mendacious spirit of those who write for them… These ordures are rapidly depraving the public taste and lessening its relish for sound food. As vehicles of information and a curb on our functionaries, they have rendered themselves useless by forfeiting all title to belief… This has, in a great degree, been produced by the violence and malignity of party spirit.””

  8. “A dozen compelling allegations of voting irregularities in 2020 election”

“While many Democrats and their allies in the traditional media argue there is no evidence of systemic voting irregularities in the Nov. 3 election, a mountain of evidence has been amassed in private lawsuits alleging there was, in fact, significant and widespread voting misconduct.

The question for the courts is whether the irregularities were widespread enough to impact the outcome or erase Joe Biden’s lead in at least three of the six battleground states where results are being contested.

And while both President Trump’s campaign and private entities like the Amistad Project are planning to file more lawsuits on Monday, Just the News reviewed the scores of filings and affidavits and declarations in the court cases.

Here are the 12 most compelling pieces of evidence presented to the courts as of Sunday night:

City of Detroit worker swears she witnessed thousands of ballots being falsified

Of all the sworn statements to date, career civil servant Jessy Jacob of Detroit provided the most sweeping claim of election fraud.

She stated in an affidavit she personally witnessed — and in some cases was instructed — to backdate thousands of absentee ballots the day after the election to make them appear legal even though they were not in the Qualified Voter File and had not arrived by the deadline. “I estimate that this was done to thousands of ballots,” her sworn statement says.

Jacob also described how in the weeks before Election Day she witnessed Detroit poll workers skipping voter ID checks and that she was “instructed by my supervisor to adjust the mailing date of these absentee ballot packages to be dated earlier than they were actually sent. The supervisor was making announcements for all workers to engage in this practice.”

Jacob described 70 to 80 other poll workers who also were instructed to falsify ballots, potentially a massive fraud.

Nearly three quarters of Detroit’s precincts had mismatched voting totals

Wayne County Board of Canvassing member William Hartmann, a Republican, says in a sworn declaration that Michigan’s largest county certified results knowing there were massive discrepancies between the approved voter files and the ballots cast and counted in Detroit.

“In my review of the results, I determined that approximately 71% of Detroit’s 134 absentee voter counting boards were left unbalanced and many unexplained,” his statement said.

Hartmann also raised concerns that birth dates in voter ID files “were altered in the pollbooks.””

“Reap What You Sow: Media Who Coddled Biden for Months Now Complain About Mistreatment

Journalists can’t all but act as lapdogs and apologists for a political campaign for months at a time and then all of a sudden expect the candidate to obediently start honoring media protocols and traditions.

For the second time in a month, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has snapped at CBS News reporter Bo Erickson.

The first time it happened was in mid-October after Biden had done some campaign stops in Michigan. As Biden prepared to board his private jet, Erickson stepped up to the plate and asked him about what no other reporter would: The New York Post’s explosive story on Hunter Biden’s laptop and the emails that were discovered on it.

“Mr. Biden, what is your response to the New York Post story about your son, sir?” Erickson inquired of the former Vice President.

“I know you’d ask it,” Biden sneered. “I have no response, it’s another smear campaign, right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask.”

It happened again on Friday. Biden and his vice presidential running mate Kamala Harris held a meeting in Delaware with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to formulate a game plan for their legislative priorities in the event Biden and Harris are certified next month as the winners of the presidential election.

As is often the case with Biden, press availability was severely limited – 50 seconds, to be exact. Reporters were dismissed not long after the “meeting” started, but Erickson did manage to sneak a question in.

“Mr. Biden, the COVID task force said it’s safe for students to be in class. Are you going to be encouraging unions to cooperate more to bring kids back to classrooms, sir?” Erickson asked.

Instead of answering, here’s how Biden responded: “Why are you the only guy that always shouts out questions?”

Pelosi laughed as reporters and photographers including Erickson were herded out of the room like cattle. You could hear one of Biden’s handlers ordering them around as though she was operating a daycare. “Let’s go guys. Out!”

“The scene was reminiscent of some of the first appearances Biden and Harris made together after he announced her as his VP pick in August. On several different occasions at the time, reporters were invited to public appearances but were not allowed to ask any questions. They were also herded out in a similar manner as was seen in the above clip.

There was some grumbling about it at the time from journalists, but it was quickly swept under the rug as they got back to covering for the guy they hoped would beat President Trump.

On Saturday, Biden and his handlers decided to give the media limited access again – at one point ditching them as a security sweep was being done of the press pool:”

    Lapdogs get treated like lapdogs.

  10. Related to AJ’s 8:38am post… I still can’t get my head around the fact that ANYONE (inc. a few here at WV) takes the position that there was not widespread voter fraud in the battleground states (and even in other states that used the Dominion voting system). It’s absolutely scary that “most Americans seem to be lost in a blue haze of blind acceptance that whatever they are told by the talking heads on TV must be true.” The loss of a free and neutral press means that we have to do our own independent research in the search for truth.

The msm ignores sworn evidence, and instead focuses on such things as who is/isn’t wearing a mask. Do none of the media outlets have even a cursory curiosity re. the affidavits (or are they simply THAT dishonest/lacking in integrity)?

We don’t need mask police – we need journalistic (and election) integrity!

  12. Tychicus – (re: your 10:37) And others completely reject anything the mainstream media has to say, but seem to embrace everything their right-leaning or left-leaning sources have to say.

There are folks on every side who see the bias in the sources that go against their own views/biases, but do not see that their own sources may be biased and fudging the truth, too.

  13. Looks like Trump isn’t too happy with his lawyers.

” * President Donald Trump is worried his campaign’s legal team, led by his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, is composed of “fools that are making him look bad,” NBC News reported.

    * Giuliani and other campaign lawyers have so far failed to invalidate votes and reverse an apparent victory for President-elect Joe Biden.

    * Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie on Sunday called Trump’s legal team a “national embarrassment.”

President Donald Trump is sweating over his campaign lawyers’ dismal and often outlandish efforts to reverse President-elect Joe Biden’s projected electoral victory.”

  14. Waiting.On.God.
He has the final say, and I have not heard His answer yet. I will believe it when it is finalized. I can’t see how God could desire those who are all for and encouraging killing babies in the womb to be in office. But he does set people up high for a bigger fall. His ways are higher than mine as are His thoughts. He is up to something big as always. He will be glorified.

  15. I am waiting on the Lord too. Actively waiting. I do not believe that God’s will is always done in our human affairs because he fives us choices, and we are wayward. However, I am 100% certain that he makes a way for those who trust in him. And I am trusting as I wait for him. It’s quite exciting in some ways. :–)
