Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 77
1 I cried out to God for help;
I cried out to God to hear me.
2 When I was in distress, I sought the Lord;
at night I stretched out untiring hands,
and I would not be comforted.
3 I remembered you, God, and I groaned;
I meditated, and my spirit grew faint.
4 You kept my eyes from closing;
I was too troubled to speak.
5 I thought about the former days,
the years of long ago;
6 I remembered my songs in the night.
My heart meditated and my spirit asked:
7 “Will the Lord reject forever?
Will he never show his favor again?
8 Has his unfailing love vanished forever?
Has his promise failed for all time?
9 Has God forgotten to be merciful?
Has he in anger withheld his compassion?”
10 Then I thought, “To this I will appeal:
the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand.
11 I will remember the deeds of the Lord;
yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
12 I will consider all your works
and meditate on all your mighty deeds.”
13 Your ways, God, are holy.
What god is as great as our God?
14 You are the God who performs miracles;
you display your power among the peoples.
15 With your mighty arm you redeemed your people,
the descendants of Jacob and Joseph.
16 The waters saw you, God,
the waters saw you and writhed;
the very depths were convulsed.
17 The clouds poured down water,
the heavens resounded with thunder;
your arrows flashed back and forth.
18 Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind,
your lightning lit up the world;
the earth trembled and quaked.
19 Your path led through the sea,
your way through the mighty waters,
though your footprints were not seen.
20 You led your people like a flock
by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Kizzie, those were all good things you asked us to pray for The Boy. I also pray for my own grandchildren to never be misled by my daughter’s in-laws. I have seen other’s who believed atheist uncle’s or other relatives and were led astray. Each of us has our own story and I pray for those to come to the Lord and for the in-laws too. OTOH, sometimes our faith is grown as we test the different beliefs of others. We all have so many influences, but The Holy Spirit is stronger than all of them. Many prayers for The Boy etc.

Pray for the nation and this election, that the outcome would be clear and accepted and that there would be no violence.
Pray also for the church as she navigates this tumultuous period, that eyes remain on Christ

Hill has been tested for COVID in Sicily–but came back negative and now simply has the flu. We just Facetimed and she looks and sounds awful. (Indeed, she coughed at one point and I reared back in horror since she wasn’t wearing a mask on the other side of the globe!)
Italy is tightening their COVID restrictions which are harder than here in purple Sonoma County. It’s lonely being by yourself and she has a dog that needs to be walked.
Can you pray she recovers quickly and/or comes up with a solution to care for the dog during any illness?
Thanks.

Prayer for daughter (37) in Boise, who has been looking forward to her oldest brother and his wife visiting. Their grandparents (husband’s folks) have come up from Florida for his birthday (turning ninety). Son and wife came up from Denver. But, because daughter’s in laws had a small group at their house and one person has sine tested positive, and in-laws visited with daughter and family twice since but before hearing about the positive, son has elected to stay with sis in law and daughter has been asked to have her children tested before coming over. Daughter and son in law are both necessary workers in health care and are diligent with masks, distancing, etc. Son and daughter in law and grandparents obviously fly a lot. So is daughter and family more of a threat than all those people they passed on their flights? How about husband who has just been visiting daughter and son in law who traveled to Minnesota and back? They want him down there. I do believe this covid stuff is making people irrational. Anyway, prayer for daughter, who is fighting having her feelings hurt.
