  1. Once again, the Gov’s dictates don’t survive judicial scrutiny, just like I said they wouldn’t.

“Michigan Supreme Court Orders Lockdown Lifted Immediately, Rejects Whitmer’s Request For Delay”

“The Michigan State Supreme Court ruled on Monday that an Oct. 2 decision striking down Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s emergency orders is effective immediately.

The court decided in a 6-1 ruling to deny Whitmer’s request to allow her orders to stay in place until Oct. 30. The administration argued that it needed the extra time to come up with contingency plans and to work with the legislature. The majority decision ruled that the court did not have the authority to grant the request.

“Executive orders issued under that act are of no continuing legal effect,” the court said, according to the Detroit Free Press. “This order is effective upon entry.”

Michigan Speaker of the House Lee Chatfield, a Republican, celebrated the ruling in a message posted on Twitter.

“Another big win at the Supreme Court today!” Chatfield said. “The law is the law, and partisan politics can’t change that. The people will finally have their voices heard in this process. The House is in again tomorrow, and I hope the Governor is ready to cooperate. It’s time to work together!””

  2. Once again Joe Biden’s lies are exposed. Everything Joe said didn’t happen, did.

“Hunter Biden emails show leveraging connections with his father to boost Burisma pay”

“Hunter Biden discussed leveraging his connection to his father in a bid to boost his pay from a Ukrainian natural gas company, according to an email he sent around the time he joined the firm’s corporate board.

In a lengthy memo to his then-business partner, Devon Archer, who already sat on the Burisma board, Biden repeatedly mentioned “my guy” while apparently referring to then-Vice President Joe Biden.

Under President Barack Obama, the elder Biden was the point person for US policy toward Ukraine, and he held a press conference there with Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk on April 22, 2014.

Hunter Biden’s email to Archer is dated a little more than a week earlier.

“The announcement of my guys [sic] upcoming travels should be characterized as part of our advice and thinking- but what he will say and do is out of our hands,” Hunter Biden wrote on April 13, 2014.

“In other words it could be a really good thing or it could end up creating too great an expectation. We need to temper expectations regarding that visit.”

The email, labeled from Robert Biden — Hunter’s first name — is among a trove of messages, documents, photos and videos purportedly recovered from a MacBook Pro laptop that a Delaware computer shop owner told The Post was brought in for repair in April 2019 and never picked up.

In the email, Hunter Biden wrote to Archer, “We need to ask for long term agreement and across the board participation. This is a huge step for us that could easily become very complicated. And if we are not protected financially regardless of the outcome we could find ourselves frozen out of a lot of current and future opportunities.

“The contract should begin now- not after the upcoming visit of my guy.

“That should include a retainer in the range of 25k p/m w/ additional fees where appropriate for more in depth work to go to BSF for our protection. Complete separate from our respective deals re board participation.””

Using Daddy’s position for personal enrichment. They did everything they falsely accused Trump of.

  3. Doh!

  4. The WaPo and others are carrying lots of water for Old Joe this AM.

How do you “fact check” something as false that the man is on video stating in his own words?

Or you employ the hackiest of journalists.

  5. Time to drag these people back before Congress.

“Facebook and Twitter declared digital war today by throttling NY Post blockbuster Biden story

Big Tech has been at war with conservatives and Republicans for years, today was just the surprise attack that makes it impossible to ignore anymore.”

  6. These clowns are getting ridiculous.

“Webster Changes ‘Preference’ Meaning After Dems Attack ACB’s Use of ‘Sexual Preference’

“Webster’s dictionary has revealed itself to be a propaganda machine,” noted one astute Twitter user.”

“To say Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono’s “questioning” of Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett during day two of the confirmation hearings left a lot to be desired would be quite the understatement.

Not only did Hirono bizarrely ask Judge Barrett if she had ever sexually assaulted anyone, but the Senator – a Georgetown Law School graduate – appeared to have problems understanding what “the law” actually means and what the role of a legislator is versus the role of a judge.

In addition to that, Hirono played predictable “gotcha” games with Barrett, criticizing her use of the term “sexual preference” from earlier in the hearing in response to a question from Sen. Dianne Feinstein about gay rights:

“Sexual preference is an offensive and outdated term, it is used by anti-LGBTQ activists to suggest that sexual orientation is a choice — it is not,” Hirono said.

The Hawaii Democrat said she was “disappointed” that the circuit court judge declined to weigh in on whether she agreed with the majority in Obergefell v. Hodges, the Supreme Court case that granted same-sex couples the right to marry.

“So even though you didn’t give a direct answer I think your response did speak volumes,” Hirono said. “Not once but twice you used the term ‘sexual preference’ to describe those in the LGBTQ community.”

  7. The family that grifts together…..

“In case there was any doubt that Facebook and Twitter are corruptly partisan, the social-media giants censored The Post’s story Wednesday on Hunter Biden’s e-mails suggesting he took cash for access to his father, Joe Biden.

The bombshell exclusive was trending all Wednesday morning on social media platforms until Big Tech stepped in to run protection for the Democratic presidential candidate.

Facebook announced it would censor the story by “reducing its distribution on our platform.”

Twitter also intervened to protect Biden from the scandal yesterday by blocking The Post’s Twitter account, @nypost, claiming the story violates its rules against “distribution of hacked material.”

Links to the story were tagged by Twitter with a warning message: “This link has been identified by Twitter or our partners as being potentially harmful.”

Twitter later attached a new warning to the story: “The link you are trying to access has been identified by Twitter or our partners as being potentially spammy or unsafe.”

But the only “potentially harmful” or “unsafe” impact of The Post story is on the Biden campaign — and, now, on the credibility of Facebook and Twitter.

Did Facebook and Twitter impose the same censorship on The New York Times story on President Trump’s leaked — or “hacked” — tax returns two weeks ago?

Did they ever fact-check the Times’ and The Washington Post’s debunked “Russia collusion” tall tales?

Did they interfere with BuzzFeed spreading the Steele Dossier tissue of lies?

Big Tech only suppresses information that reflects badly on the Biden campaign.”

  8. Oh look. Yet another example of them doing exactly what they accuse the Trump family of without any evidence. And the corrupt and complicit media looks away yet again.

The whole family’s gettin’ in on the cash flow.

“Biden’s Son-in-Law Advising Campaign on Pandemic While Investing in Companies Which Could Benefit From it

“simultaneously advising the campaign and venturing into Covid investing could pose conflict-of-interest concerns for a Biden administration”

“Joe Biden has been dogged by suggestions that his son Hunter benefited financially from Biden’s connections as vice president. Now a new report is raising similar questions, this time about Biden’s son-in-law, Howard Krein.

Krein is advising the Biden campaign on the Coronavirus pandemic, while reportedly investing in companies which could benefit from it financially.

If accurate, this is a gross conflict of interests.

    Ben Schreckinger writes at Politico:

Biden’s son-in-law advises campaign on pandemic while investing in Covid-19 startups

At the same time that Joe Biden’s son-in-law, Howard Krein, has been advising Biden’s campaign on its coronavirus response, Krein’s venture capital business has been running a special initiative to invest in health care startups that offer solutions to the pandemic.

In March, as Covid-19 began spreading in the United States, the investment firm, StartUp Health, unveiled a new coronavirus initiative soliciting pitches from entrepreneurs with products that addressed the outbreak.

The next month, reports in Bloomberg and the New York Times listed Krein among those participating in daily calls to brief Biden on health policy during the pandemic, while StartUp Health announced its intention to invest $1 million across 10 startups with coronavirus applications within 30 days.

“StartUp Health is putting the full support of its platform and network behind building a post-Covid world that uses technology and entrepreneurial ingenuity to improve health outcomes,” the firm said at the time.

Krein simultaneously advising the campaign and venturing into Covid investing could pose conflict-of-interest concerns for a Biden administration or simply create the awkward appearance of Krein profiting off his father-in-law’s policies.

This is especially damning because even the casual observer knows that Biden has based much of his 2020 campaign on Trump’s response to the Coronavirus pandemic.”

  9. Here’s an interesting video that Ajisuun (Joanne) posted on Facebook.

“The ‘Biden crime family’ is like the Sopranos but worse”

  10. This election has become one of good vs. evil, rather than who would manage the country better.
Hunter Biden desperately needs his father to win.

  11. People in my neck of the woods are wondering where Amy Klobuchar tracked elk. We don’t have elk here, although she claims to remember looking at their tracks with her grandparents up here. That is as irritating to hear as it is to read writers who set their novels in our area and then mix up cities or other facts. What it says about her I will leave to you.

  12. Let’s see, dirty deals with Russia, the Ukraine, and now China too.

“Hunter Biden Pursued ‘Lasting and Lucrative’ Deals With Chinese Private Energy

    Ukraine and Russia. Now China.”

“The New York Post keeps rolling out the Hunter Biden emails! I wonder if Twitter and Facebook will block the latest article.

Emails show that Hunter wanted to have “lasting and lucrative” deals with the top Chinese private energy company, which would bring in tens of millions for his family.

The company was CEFC China Energy Co. based in Shanghai. Chairman Ye Jianming vanished in 2018 after Chinese authorities took him into custody.

CEFC went bankrupt in early 2020.

    Expectations With CEFC
The emails take place in 2017:

One email sent to Biden on May 13, 2017, with the subject line “Expectations,” included details of “remuneration packages” for six people involved in an unspecified business venture.

Biden was identified as “Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,” an apparent reference to the former Shanghai-based conglomerate CEFC China Energy Co.

His pay was pegged at “850” and the email also noted that “Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.”

A provisional agreement stated that four people would split 80% of the new company’s shares. Initials identified the four people, which correspond with the four people involved in the email: H, RW, JG, and TB.

There was also 10 for Jim and “10 held by H for the big guy.” The emails did not identify this big guy.”

Better start censoring this one too.

  13. Liar, liar……

    So unbiased…..

“C-SPAN suspends Scully after he admits to lie about hack”

“C-SPAN suspended its political editor Steve Scully indefinitely Thursday after he admitted to lying about his Twitter feed being hacked when he was confronted about a questionable exchange with former Trump aide Anthony Scaramucci.

The news came on the day of what was supposed to be a career highlight for the 30-year C-SPAN veteran. Scully was to moderate the second debate between President Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden, which was canceled after Trump would not agree to a virtual format because of his COVID-19 diagnosis.

A week ago, after Trump had criticized him as a “never Trumper,” Scully tweeted “@Scaramucci should I respond to Trump.” Scaramucci, a former Trump communications director and now a critic of the president, advised Scully to ignore him.

Scully said that when he saw his tweet had created a controversy, “I falsely claimed that my Twitter account had been hacked.””

  14. Democrats lie, cheat and steal. So many friends and family never see how Democrats act, never seem to see this about their Party. There are even people here on “Wandering Views” who at best, won’t vote for Trump. My wife can’t stand Trump.

The whole Democratic Party doesn’t seem to care about Hillary’s crimes, now they don’t care about Biden’s crimes. How can anyone who is honest vote for that Party?

    Epstein didn’t kill himself !!
