Anyone have something to share?
Psalm 58
1 Do you rulers indeed speak justly?
Do you judge people with equity?
2 No, in your heart you devise injustice,
and your hands mete out violence on the earth.
3 Even from birth the wicked go astray;
from the womb they are wayward, spreading lies.
4 Their venom is like the venom of a snake,
like that of a cobra that has stopped its ears,
5 that will not heed the tune of the charmer,
however skillful the enchanter may be.
6 Break the teeth in their mouths, O God;
Lord, tear out the fangs of those lions!
7 Let them vanish like water that flows away;
when they draw the bow, let their arrows fall short.
8 May they be like a slug that melts away as it moves along,
like a stillborn child that never sees the sun.
9 Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns—
whether they be green or dry—the wicked will be swept away.
10 The righteous will be glad when they are avenged,
when they dip their feet in the blood of the wicked.
11 Then people will say,
“Surely the righteous still are rewarded;
surely there is a God who judges the earth.”
Prayer for husband as he is wearing out with daughter. She requires a minimum of four hours of close personal attention every day. And demands more. Wisdom.

Heavenly Father,
I lift up Mike to You today for relief from his heavy burden. I pray for him to have wisdom and discernment as to the best plan of weaning the overly needy one from her clinginess. I pray You will help her to seek You, her spiritual Father, for Your invisible presence giving love beyond imagining 24/7. Perhaps she needs a pretend family of stuffed animals to use as substitute attention receivers/givers. Whatever is needed, Lord, please provide Your best solution. I pray for Mike to get needed rest and refreshment and a rebuilding of his energy stores. Thank You God for making streams in the desert. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

In his football game yesterday afternoon, Boy ended up in a “pig pile” (a pile of a bunch of players). Afterwards, his right arm was hurting pretty bad, and swollen. The medical person available there (an EMT, maybe?) said it didn’t seem broken, but to keep an eye on it.
He was able to go to school, but he says it is still sore. Please pray for healing, and for wisdom for whether or not Nightingale should take him to have it X-rayed. Thank you.

Nightingale just got home from work, and said that she is going to take Boy to an urgent care place to have his arm checked. Good call.

I’m having an emotional roller-coaster day, not helped by having the cat defecate on a $1000 duvet.
The Lord is sustaining me with a podcast reminding me it’s not my circumstances that are important, but how I respond to them.
On the way back from my hour-long drive to civilization to drop off the aforementioned and to restock all these Green products, I could not get any sort of signal–though a beautiful ride through redwoods– but miraculously, the phone found music and I listened with tears to Michael Kelly Blanchard croon, “Jesus heals the heart, you know. When all that’s left it’s good to know.”
And it was even on a straight-away, so I could drive safely.
So much to do now. I may end up with a duvet on Thursday, who knows? The drive, at least, will be nice.
We’re supposed to go home tonight. My relative is urging me to stay another week!
Feeling fragile.
Thanks. Mr. Business is in meetings all afternoon. Though he has hugged me several times. 🙂

Kizzie, I was wondering the other day if Boy was still playing football – hope the arm heals quickly and isn’t anything beyond a sprain

Just a sprain, not broken. The knucklehead was disappointed it wasn’t broken. I guess he thought it would be neat to have a cast. 😀
