  1. More garbage.

    Yawn. Try harder.

“Another October Surprise Executed Early? Timing of Liberal Media’s New COVID Panic Push Is Beyond Transparent”

“Is this another October Surprise that was jettisoned early because the race is tightening up? I think so. The rioting, Joe Biden’s prolonged absences, his bunker mentality, and his struggles in some key Democratic counties, like Miami-Dade, are all seeping through. The polling is slowly starting to reflect what we’ve already known: the race is tightening up—big league. Trump and Biden are running neck-and-neck in Michigan, which has spooked the hell out of Michael Moore. The enthusiasm for Trump is through the roof. And Biden is chasing the president across the Rust Belt. That’s not the sign of a campaign that’s confident of its position, despite poll after poll showing Biden ahead by seven, eight, nine, or even ten points. Then again, these are based on old registered voter polls.

How to stop the bleeding? Well, you cannot count on Biden to do that. He gets too tired. He’s wiped out after giving one speech. So, the Democrats have to lean on their top ally: the liberal media. The first salvo has been fired, with The Atlantic’s fake news story about Trump denigrating America’s war dead three years ago in France. Unnamed sources with firsthand knowledge said it was true. Then, more anonymous sources confirmed it. So, anonymous sources confirmed what other unnamed sources have said in the story from a liberal magazine that’s entirely supported by…anonymous sources. It’s a circus—and no one cares. No one believes it except for anti-Trump Republicans, who might be even more dense and dim-witted than their Democratic counterparts.

This was a story that was definitely being saved for later. For God’s sake, there were ads already made when this story dropped. As Kurt noted, the Left kept this bullet in the chamber but had to fire it off when the rioting started to impact the polls and Nancy Pelosi’s illegal trip to the hair salon in COVID prison state California overall made Democrats look bad. Deploy countermeasures! And now, with COVID mostly being ignored by Americans because we’re sick of this little virus, they’re trying to gin up more panic porn with this book from Bob Woodward, who alleges that Trump knew about the virus’ lethality in February, but only decided to tell us this little tale…less than 60 days from Election Day. The timing says it all, boys and girls (via NBC News):

President Donald Trump acknowledged the dangers of the coronavirus pandemic in a February interview with journalist Bob Woodward, and acknowledged downplaying the threat in a March interview, according to an account of Woodward’s new book.

“I wanted to always play it down. I still like playing it down because I don’t want to create a panic,” Trump said in a March 19 call with Woodward, according to an audio clip posted on The Washington Post’s website. The newspaper obtained a copy of his book “Rage,” which is scheduled to be released next week.”

A president who didn’t want to cause a panic. Oh the horror….. 🙄

And if it was such a terrible thing, why wait 7 months to reveal it?

Just another shameless plug to promote a book.

  2. It didn’t matter at all….

    And just a reminder….

  3. Like gutter low…..

“Collusion Between Democrats and the Media Reaches a New Low ”

“Opponents of President Trump likely fed The Atlantic a fake story. The Atlantic published this fake story. Then, Joe Biden and Democrats used it to attack President Trump. It’s a disgraceful cycle that we see all too often from self-described reporters who are focused on colluding with the Democratic Party instead of reporting the truth.

The Atlantic, Mr. Goldberg, Democrats and everyone else involved in pushing this story out should apologize to President Trump for spreading false rumors and for their lack of integrity. If this is what passes for reporting these days, then journalism is on its deathbed. If reporters in the mainstream media are willing to use their positions as nothing more than attack dogs for Democrats, then they need to at least be truthful about it moving forward and disclose their bias and conflicts of interest.

But let’s be honest here. If Joe Biden, Democrats, the owners of The Atlantic, Jeffrey Goldberg and any others involved want to actually hurt President Trump, they need to do a better job than they did in this muddled mess of a story.

The only reason the Democrat-media cabal published this most recent fake news is because they are nervous that President Trump will be re-elected—as they very well should be. The American people can see right through the Left and their media comrades’ lies and tricks, and that’s exactly why the nation will enjoy another four years of President Trump when Americans re-elect him in November.”

  4. The angry man with blood on his hands is lashing out and blaming others for his inept leadership.

Dems and the media are gaslighting the country with coordinated cases of revisionist history.

“NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo: “Donald Trump caused the COVID outbreak in New York.”

Infamously inept Governor whose policies contributed to nursing home coronavirus carnage, lashes out.”

“As Professor Jacobson noted, we have now entered into anti-Trump cycle during which the Democrats will push at least one “wrap up smear” a week in the battle against President Donald Trump’s reelection.

This week’s offering seems especially contemptible. It appears that leading Democrats and their media minions are blaming Trump for the COVID-19 pandemic.

For example. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo directly blamed the President for the spread of the virus in his state.”

“There are many facets of response to this inanity. To begin with, New York’s Governor is likely feeling the heat from the investigation concerning the number of nursing home deaths in his state.

New York’s official nursing home death toll is over 6,600, though The Associated Press reported last month that the number could be undercounted because New York only counts residents who died on nursing home property to determine the death toll. Data from the Kaiser Family Foundation suggests that New York could have a nursing home death toll of over 11,000, according to the AP, which is apparently the source of the figure in the president’s tweet.

The Justice Department is currently considering an investigation into whether four Democratic-led states, including New York, violated the civil rights of nursing home residents by requiring nursing homes not turn away other residents for readmission after they had COVID-19. The Trump administration has come under fire as a result, with critics seeing the probe as politically motivated.

Next, I find it fascinating that Cuomo, Hayes, and the rest of the Democratic Party/Media complex is sweeping China’s involvement in the origin and spread of the Wuhan Coronavirus under the rug. It’s a good thing that both the Internet and I have long memories.

WHO Quietly Admits China Didn’t Self-Report Coronavirus, Contrary to Prior Report
German Intelligence Service Confirms China’s President Xi Pressured WHO to Delay Coronavirus Warnings
China Rejects Demands for Outside Investigation into Wuhan Coronavirus Outbreak
China’s desperate attempt to erase its connection to the Wuhan coronavirus is not going well
Report: China Destroyed Evidence of Wuhan Coronavirus in December

However, I suspect the real basis for this particular smear is that Trump is poised to benefit from some good news related to the Wuhan Coronavirus. The number of bases in the US has plummeted to a 3-month low, and as treatments become more effective and available, the number of fatalities will also decline substantially.

Less than 25,000 new coronavirus cases were reported on Monday, the lowest number of daily confirmed cases in close to 12 weeks, according to Johns Hopkins University data.

Just more than 24,000 new cases were tallied Monday with 267 deaths. Over the past week, there have been an average of more than 37,000 U.S. cases reported per day.

Additionally, there is “Operation Warp Speed”, which looks as if it could deliver a vaccine to the public just ahead of the election. The fact that the Coronavirus Task Force’s Dr. Anthony Faucci says a vaccine won’t be available by then suggests that the opposite is likely to be true.

White House coronavirus advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci said Tuesday a coronavirus vaccine probably won’t be ready by the U.S. presidential election even as the Centers for Disease and Prevention asks states to ready distribution facilities by Nov. 1.

At a health conference, Fauci said it’s more likely a vaccine will be ready by “the end of the year” as drug companies Moderna and Pfizer race to complete patient enrollment for their late-stage vaccine trials by the end of September.

If this is where we now stand in the anti-Trump crisis news cycle, then the Democrats are going to be exploring the hard boundaries of deep, panicked desperation by November 3rd.”

  5. Typical.

Blame the victim for their Dem supporters actions.

I know, I know…. Trump made them do it.

“Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s new campaign ad features the violent chaos of Democrat-led cities. Surprise: President Trump is to blame.”

“The Biden ad says: “This is our chance to put the darkness of the past four years behind us. To end the anger, the insults, the division, the violence, and start fresh in America.”

Wait? There’s violence? Who knew? I guess now that it’s in a campaign ad you’ll finally see it on CNN and MSNBC.

Of course, if Biden wins the violence will vanish. Talk about extortion. He’s saying: elect me or you’re dead! But it’s also based on getting rid of something the Democrats kept denying exists.

The Dems kept saying the widespread brutality was fantasy. They pushed it as “mostly peaceful,” as if statistically that’s OK. But how good would you feel if you were told your parachute is mostly safe?

But now the Democrats have read the polls and see they were wrong. It’s the only language they respect.

But remove their lies and you see the real causes of these police incidents. Drugs, mental illness, noncompliance. It exists across all races. A mind on drugs or plagued by illness won’t comply.

The police require compliance. It’s that incompatibility that the media and Dems turned into fodder for unrest. And now boxed in, they must blame Trump.

Of course, we could remind them that Trump offered help — but that acceptance would be cooperating with Orange Man Bad.

If Portland, Ore., Mayor Ted Wheeler had shelved his ego and taken Trump’s help early on, the Trump supporter killed in that city would be alive, as well as many others.”

  6. Good. We could save billions here.

“DeVos Makes Federal Grant Money Contingent Upon Compliance With First Amendment

“These regulations hold public institutions accountable for protecting the First Amendment rights of students and student organizations, and they require private colleges and universities that promise their students and faculty free expression, free inquiry, and diversity of thought to live up to those ideals.”

“The Department of Education announced Wednesday that the Improving Free Inquiry, Transparency, and Accountability at Colleges and Universities final rule will “ensure that public institutions of higher education uphold fundamental rights guaranteed by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and that private institutions of higher education adhere to their own policies regarding freedom of speech, including academic freedom.”

    “And the full report:

WASHINGTON — Today, U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos delivered on her promise to protect free inquiry and religious liberty on campus by publishing the Improving Free Inquiry, Transparency, and Accountability at Colleges and Universities final rule. The new rule will ensure that public institutions of higher education uphold fundamental rights guaranteed by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and that private institutions of higher education adhere to their own policies regarding freedom of speech, including academic freedom. The final rule also ensures the equal treatment and constitutional rights of religious student organizations at public institutions and provides clarity for faith-based institutions with respect to Title IX.

“This administration is committed to protecting the First Amendment rights of students, teachers, and faith-based institutions. Students should not be forced to choose between their faith and their education, and an institution controlled by a religious organization should not have to sacrifice its religious beliefs to participate in Department grants and programs,” said Secretary DeVos. “These regulations hold public institutions accountable for protecting the First Amendment rights of students and student organizations, and they require private colleges and universities that promise their students and faculty free expression, free inquiry, and diversity of thought to live up to those ideals.”

The Department’s final rule was created after reviewing more than 17,000 public comments. It addresses four areas of critical importance:

First, to implement Executive Order 13864, Improving Free Inquiry, Transparency, and Accountability at Colleges and Universities, public colleges and universities must comply with the First Amendment as a requirement to receive Department grants. Private institutions of higher education must comply with their own stated institutional policies regarding freedom of speech, including academic freedom, as a requirement of Department grants. Due to the well-developed body of case law by state and federal courts on First Amendment rights and violations of stated institutional policies, the Department will rely upon a final, non-default judgment by a state or federal court to determine whether a public or private institution has violated these material grant conditions.

Second, the rule clarifies how an institution may demonstrate that it is controlled by a religious organization for purposes of Title IX. Federal law provides that Title IX “shall not apply” to educational institutions that are “controlled by a religious organization,” to the extent that application of Title IX would not be consistent with the religious tenets of such organization. Neither Title IX nor its implementing regulations have ever before defined what it means for a school to be “controlled by a religious organization.” The final rule includes a non-exhaustive list of some of the most common concrete factors that an institution may rely upon to demonstrate that it is “controlled by a religious organization” for Title IX purposes.

Third, the rule ensures equal treatment of religious student organizations at public colleges and universities. As a requirement of the Department’s grants, public colleges and universities must not deny to a religious student group any of the rights, benefits, or privileges that other student groups enjoy. For example, a religious student group must have the same rights as other student groups at the public institution to receive official recognition, to use the institution’s facilities, and to receive student fee funds. Equal treatment of religious student groups is now a material condition of the Department’s grants.

Fourth, the rule revises regulations governing some discretionary grant programs under Titles III and V of the Higher Education Act of 1964, as amended, to better align with the First Amendment and other federal laws. Current regulations could prohibit a school from using such a grant for even secular activities or services such as teaching a course about world religions. The rule more narrowly tailors the prohibition on the use of these grants to religious instruction, religious worship, or proselytization. The rule also more narrowly defines a “school or department of divinity” to clarify that institutions are not prohibited from using grants for a secular department of religion.

  7. And yet you and every other hack out there ran with it, huh?

    And let me just say……

  8. I think both the left and right can agree Woodward has fallen a long way from his Watergate fame. Obviously he’s only interested in selling books but this will hurt Trump. Similarly the Atlantic article did hurt Trump. Arizona is steadily going Democratic — all the Biden campaign has to do is play Trump’s McCain remarks on repeat. Not to mention a poor Republican Senate candidate means less Republican turnout. Today Rasmussen, a Republican pollster, released a Michigan poll showing Biden 8 points ahead of Trump in Michigan. The problem for Trump is both the Atlantic and Woodward stories appear plausible given Trump’s personality and past history.

Michael Moore has been operating in crisis mode ever since Biden was the assumed nominee. He knows in order for the Democratics to win, they need to motivate people to the polls. However, the polls are fairly consistent — Biden’s ahead nationally and in states that matter.

Polls do indicate American’s trust Biden more than Trump in terms of law and order. This means the Republican 4 day infomercial ie virtual convention had no effect. When a Republican candidate isn’t considered the law and order candidate, he’s in trouble. The appearance of right wing militia in Oregon and Wisconsin and Trump’s approval allowed the Democrats to assume the law and order mantle.

Like the poll in the tweet you posted. Only 40% trust Trump with the Covid viruses. That’s a not a good sign when any president only has a 40% trust rating on one of the most important issues during an election rate.

Trump’s campaign has some interesting spending habits; lots of money directed to friends and family businesses. And adverts purchased in weird areas while more important markets are ignored.
