  1. Hypocrite…..

Rules are for thee, not for me.

After banning Michigan families from heading to their summer cabin’s, Gretchen got caught guess where…… at her summer cabin.

Now she and her AG wants to go after Ford because they didn’t make Trump wear a mask during his visit.

“How many Democratic politicians in Michigan are fighting with Trump right now? There’s Gretchen Whitmer, who might parlay the boost to her public profile from their feud into a VP nomination. There’s Jocelyn Benson, the secretary of state, who fired back at Trump twice yesterday on Twitter after what he said about mail-in voting and ended up getting an MSNBC segment out of it. Now here’s attorney general Dana Nessel getting in on the action, treating Trump’s refusal to wear a mask during part of his visit today to a Ford plant in Michigan as grounds for … declaring him persona non grata? Bringing charges against Ford, possibly?

Background: Both state law and Ford company policy require the wearing of masks at the plant he visited. Ford execs say they did ask him to wear one, and he complied — initially. But after his private chat with them ended and he had to make a speech and meet the press, he took it off.

Trump also claimed “I had one [a mask] on before,” in an area that was not visible to reporters, but added, “I didn’t want to give the press the pleasure of seeing it.”…

The Ford company later issued a statement saying: ″Bill Ford encouraged President Trump to wear a mask when he arrived. He wore a mask during a private viewing of three Ford GTs from over the years. The President later removed the mask for the remainder of the visit.”

When William Ford introduced Trump for a speech to factory workers after the tour, the company chairman wore a mask as he spoke.

    Trump did not.”

  2. Good news….

  3. This is disgusting. The Karens are now resorting to vandalism and arson.

“The First Pentecostal Church of Holly Springs in Mississippi burned down early Wednesday morning. The congregation had been in a legal battle to continue holding services despite the novel coronavirus outbreak and subsequent lockdown orders.

The building went up in flames between 2-4 a.m. Investigators said the church was spray-painted with graffiti before an explosion blew out the front of the building, according to Fox 13. Maj. Kelly McMillian of the Marshall Count Sheriff’s Department confirmed the fire to be a criminal act of arson.

Thomas More Society senior counsel and lawyer for the church, Stephen Crampton, spoke with Fox News about the fire and said the perpetrators spray-painted a message that read, “I Bet you stay home now you hypokrits.”

“We’re in a time where I don’t think it’s any secret that there’s a growing hostility toward churches, across the board,” Crampton said. “And now, here are churches like First Pentecostal that are sort of stirring up the waters by being outspoken and somewhat firm about seeking to protect their Constitutional rights.”

He added, “They’ve had bad comments [sent their way] on social media. … There is just a segment that takes issue with the church standing up, and the church just being the church.”

Crampton represented First Pentecostal in court after its pastor Jerry Waldrop was cited for holding Easter Sunday services. The Thomas More Society also claimed police disrupted a Bible study group held 10 days after the citation.”

  4. Vote fraud?

    Never happens….. 🙄

“Philadelphia Democratic Party Official Pleads Guilty to Stuffing Ballot Boxes in Elections

“Demuro further admitted that a local political consultant gave him directions and paid him money to add votes for candidates supported by the consultant…””

    “But voting fraud doesn’t exist!

Former Judge of Elections in Philadelphia and Democratic Party official Domenick Demuro pleaded guilty for stuffing ballot boxes in favor of Democrats in return for money and other items.

He pleaded guilty in front of U.S. District Judge Paul Diamond in March, but the court unsealed the matter earlier this morning.

The Department of Justice explained what happened:

During his guilty plea hearing, Demuro admitted that while serving as an elected municipal Judge of Elections, he accepted bribes in the form of money and other things of value in exchange for adding ballots to increase the vote totals for certain candidates on the voting machines in his jurisdiction and for certifying tallies of all the ballots, including the fraudulent ballots. Demuro further admitted that a local political consultant gave him directions and paid him money to add votes for candidates supported by the consultant, including candidates for judicial office whose campaigns actually hired the consultant, and other candidates for various federal, state and local elective offices preferred by that consultant for a variety of reasons. Demuro also admitted that the votes he added in exchange for payments by the political consultant increased the number of votes fraudulently recorded and tallied for the consultant’s clients and preferred candidates, thereby diluting the ballots cast by actual voters.

Demuro admitted he tampered with primary elections in 2014, 2015, and 2016. He received around $5,000 to rig these elections.”

  5. Good. Someone needs to reign in the activist judge.

“D.C. Circuit Orders Judge Sullivan to Respond to Flynn Mandamus Petition”

“Is Judge Emmet Sullivan’s collusion cameo nearing its end?

Today, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, on its own motion, ordered Judge Sullivan to respond within ten days to the petition for a writ of mandamus filed by Michael Flynn. Earlier this week, Flynn’s counsel, Sidney Powell, filed the petition for that extraordinary writ, asking the appellate court to instruct Sullivan to grant the Justice Department’s motion to dismiss the case against Flynn.

That was after Judge Sullivan not only declined to grant the prosecution’s motion, but (a) invited non-parties to intervene in the case by filing amicus briefs (transparently, to make arguments that he somehow has authority to deny DOJ’s motion); and (b) appointed one amicus, former federal judge John Gleeson, as a quasi-prosecutor to make arguments that prosecutors are declining to make in favor of entering a judgment of conviction and sentencing Flynn.

As I noted yesterday, Sullivan’s encouragement of amicus briefs, which are not authorized in criminal cases, flies in the face of Sullivan’s own very firm orders previously declining to permit amicus briefs in Flynn’s case — some two dozen times by Ms. Powell’s count.

The appointment of Gleeson is equally astonishing and offensive to the principle of courts as impartial arbiters. Gleeson — who worked at the U.S. attorney’s office for the Eastern District of New York with Loretta Lynch (later President Obama’s attorney general) and Andrew Weissmann (chief prosecutor on the Mueller probe that brought the Flynn case — and now a Biden for President fundraiser) — has co-written a Washington Post op-ed portraying the Justice Department’s dismissal motion as an abuse of power.

The three-judge appellate panel that is considering the mandamus petition and that ordered Judge Sullivan to respond includes Judge Karen LeCraft Henderson, who was appointed to the D.C. Circuit by President George H. W. Bush (after being named to the district court by President Reagan); Judge Naomi Rao, who was appointed by President Trump; and Judge Robert L. Wilkins, who was appointed by President Obama.”

  6. Someone finally fell for the Nigerian Prince scam….. 🙂

    Unfortunately, it’s costing taxpayers millions.

“‘Hundreds of millions of dollars’ lost in Washington to unemployment fraud amid coronavirus joblessness surge”

“Washington state officials have acknowledged the loss of “hundreds of millions of dollars” to an international fraud scheme that hammered the state’s unemployment insurance system and could mean even longer delays for thousands of jobless workers still waiting for legitimate benefits.

Suzi LeVine, commissioner of the state Employment Security Department (ESD), disclosed the staggering losses during a news conference Thursday afternoon. LeVine declined to specify how much money was stolen during the scam, which is believed to be orchestrated from Nigeria. But she conceded that the amount was “orders of magnitude above” the $1.6 million that the ESD reported losing to fraudsters in April.

LeVine said state and law enforcement officials were working to recover as much of the money as possible, though she declined to say how much had been returned so far. She also said the ESD had taken “a number of steps” to prevent new fraudulent claims from being filed or paid but would not specify the steps, to avoid alerting criminals.

“We do have definitive proof that the countermeasures we have put in place are working,” LeVine said. “We have successfully prevented hundreds of millions of additional dollars from going out to these criminals and prevented thousands of fraudulent claims from being filed.””

“Last week, the U.S. Secret Service issued an alert warning that Washington was the “primary state targeted” by a “well-organized Nigerian fraud ring exploiting the COVID-19 crisis to commit large-scale fraud against state unemployment insurance programs.” The alert, which said there was “also evidence of attacks in North Carolina, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Oklahoma, Wyoming and Florida,” noted “potential losses in the hundreds of millions of dollars.”

Among the criminal groups implicated in the fraud is a Nigerian organization known as Scattered Canary, according to a report released this week by Agari, a California-based cybersecurity firm that has tracked the African organization’s activities. The group has been running scams for more than a decade, working to steal Social Security payments, student aid and disaster relief funds, among other targets, the report said.”

  7. This is how Cuomo made things worse.

“More than 4,300 recovering coronavirus patients were sent to New York’s already vulnerable nursing homes under a controversial state directive that was ultimately scrapped amid criticisms it was accelerating the nation’s deadliest outbreaks, according to a count by The Associated Press.

AP compiled its own tally to find out how many COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals to nursing homes under the March 25 directive after New York’s Health Department declined to release its internal survey conducted two weeks ago. It says it is still verifying data that was incomplete.

Whatever the full number, nursing home administrators, residents’ advocates and relatives say it has added up to a big and indefensible problem for facilities that even Gov. Andrew Cuomo — the main proponent of the policy — called “the optimum feeding ground for this virus.”

“It was the single dumbest decision anyone could make if they wanted to kill people,” Daniel Arbeeny said of the directive, which prompted him to pull his 88-year-old father out of a Brooklyn nursing home where more than 50 people have died. His father later died of COVID-19 at home.

“This isn’t rocket science,” Arbeeny said. “We knew the most vulnerable — the elderly and compromised — are in nursing homes and rehab centers.”

  8. A tape has surfaced of a phone call in Feb, 2016 between President Poroshenko of the Ukraine and Joe Biden. Pres. Poroshenko says, “Yesterday I met with the General Prosecutor Shokin, and despite the fact that we didn’t have any corruption charges, we don’t have any information about he’s doing something wrong, I especially asked him (the day before yesterday) to resign his position. He gave me his resignation.”

This should be an international bombshell, but of course it’s being totally hidden by the media.

So Pres. Trump, who was once on a call with Pres. Zelensky about known, deep Biden family corruption, asked him to look into it. Liberals alleged that there was a quid pro quo, which of course doesn’t exist in that call. Yet Pres. Trump was ‘impeached’. On this Feb, 2016 call, Joe Biden asks for the Prosecutor General (who was investigating his son’s company) to resign, Pres. Poroshenko agrees to it while insisting there is no evidence of Shokin’s corruption – no reason to fire him other than Biden’s request.

How does this not totally disqualify Biden? Liberals have said that this is the kind of reason for a president to be removed. They want to remove the guy who did nothing wrong (Trump), instead of the guy (Biden) who is actually on tape doing a quid pro quo? Then, in another video, Biden is dumb enough to confess to the whole thing! Yet this is the guy who they want to be their candidate for president?

Our Republic is going downhill – far too fast!

  9. Huh.

  10. ““In America We Need More Prayer Not Less!” – BREAKING: President Trump Designates Houses of Worship “Essential” States Must Open Up Houses of Worship THIS WEEKEND!”

  11. Another Democrat Gov who is a flaming hypocrite.

First he sends his family to Florida during lockdown. Now he’s sending workers out of state to work on his mansion, also while still under his lock down order.

“Illinois construction workers traveling to Wisconsin to work on Pritzker’s farm amid stay-at-home order”

“A big construction project at Gov. JB Pritzker’s Wisconsin horse farm has some questioning whether the governor is honoring the spirit of his own stay-at-home order.

FOX 32 News watched Thursday as construction workers from Illinois crossed the border to work on the governor’s farm. Pritzker, though, says there is no double standard because construction workers are exempt.

FOX 32 wandered over the Wisconsin border into Kenosha County and found more than 20 construction workers — nearly all from Illinois — helping build a massive new home and several outbuildings on Pritzker’s horse farm.”

“All but one of the listed contractors is based in Chicago or its suburbs, and we saw cars and construction vehicles with Illinois plates leaving the project and turning south into the Land of Lincoln.

That frustrates neighbors who live just on the other side of the border.

“Just crazy. I drive by all the time and there’s at least 20, 30 trucks a day working on this place. Which is great, Keep people working. But you don’t want your Illinois residents working. I really don’t understand that,” Mike Wendricks said.

“First of all they’re operating an essential function. Construction is an essential function. And second of all, they’re union employees that are going to do the work that they do. And I’ve never said people can’t cross the border to another state,” Pritzker said Thursday.

The governor’s horse farm made news last week when Republicans raised questions about his wife and daughter traveling to Wisconsin during the shutdown.”

The Gov is shoveling the manure on this one. Rules are for the peons, right?

  12. Another loss for the petty tyrant. 🙂

  13. I’m not sure why there’s this great angst over masks. In my nieghbourhood (mostly Asian) people wear masks anytime they think they are sick — its a courtesy to the people around you. Now almost all my neighbours wear masks — they don’t know if they are asymptomatic so they wear one. Trump’s refusal to abide by simple workplace regulations reminds me of a self indulgent child. Even more importantly why is he in Michigan? There’s a pandemic — he should be hard at work in Washington; or does he not work?

Its hard to take any Covid data seriously if the testing hasn’t been extensive. Texas opened and continue to have a large number of new cases yet have been sluggish in testing. The data in Florida and Georgia is suspect. Its difficult to make any judgments given the lack of testing and the political nature of data collection in the US. To be safe stay home. I’m also annoyed at the lack of imagination of some experts — its either a lockdown or capitalism as before. Instead of moaning the losses of a shutdown, try using an imagination — try a UBI, a wealth tax, an end to corporate subsidies etc But no its either go back to work or suffer an economic meltdown.

Lancet came out with a definitive study –after reviewing over 100,000 cases, patients who took hydrochlorinquine were deemed to have had worse outcomes. I really wonder if Trump is actually taking it or is trolling the press while shilling for a friend.
