Prayer Requests 4-13-20

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 64

A psalm of David.

Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint;
    protect my life from the threat of the enemy.

Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked,
    from the plots of evildoers.
They sharpen their tongues like swords
    and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.
They shoot from ambush at the innocent;
    they shoot suddenly, without fear.

They encourage each other in evil plans,
    they talk about hiding their snares;
    they say, “Who will see it?”
They plot injustice and say,
    “We have devised a perfect plan!”
    Surely the human mind and heart are cunning.

But God will shoot them with his arrows;
    they will suddenly be struck down.
He will turn their own tongues against them
    and bring them to ruin;
    all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.
All people will fear;
    they will proclaim the works of God
    and ponder what he has done.

10 The righteous will rejoice in the Lord
    and take refuge in him;
    all the upright in heart will glory in him!

  1. Prayer for fifth daughter and husband as she continues down the same path she has given all previous care givers. He sees it and knows his limits. But it is difficult as she pulls out the same cards. Wisdom.

  2. OK, so not fifth daughter and HER husband, fifth daughter and YOUR husband. 🙂 Clarified. The “care givers” part had me confused, but I’d read it as your daughter and son-in-law, and figured someone was treating her husband the same way she’d treated parents and guardians . . .

  3. Fifth daughter is not married! That is crazy and we don’t do crazy. Only first, second and fourth are married. Only first, third and fourth have children. Except the second, third, and eighth have children, though first, second and third are married.
